Hey everyone. I'm hoping to bring Jackson here in as Emil. He's a young author (credits include The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z) with a lot of luck and has lived in Brooklyn his entire life. His mother was single and he was a challenge for her, barely finishing high school and all. He's still not the most motivated of 24 year olds and can usually be found near coffee, beer, and comic books. She came to New York for nursing school at NYU in 2002. She graduated in 2008 and has been working at Bellevue Trauma Center since August of '08. okay! hi everyone! i'm rei and this is my lovely berlin. i've had her in the game a couple of times before, but with personal randomness and hangups, i've pulled her. but she's back, this time for good and could use a little love. she's got some awesomeness in the form of BFFs (COUGH HARLEY AND FRANKIE), but she could use some other friends as well. she's a little bit of a spazz, really random, loves billy joel. her oldest brother, ethan, is deaf, so she's fluent in american sign language. in fact, she works as an ASL interpreter. she used to dance until she realized that it wasn't ever going to make her any money. she hasn't really had a lot of look with boys, as she tends to fall for the wrong ones, or the ones who are already otherwise spoken for. she dated one boy all throughout college who was a complete and total jackass to her. currently, she's 5 months pregnant and hiding from the world, mostly because she hasn't told anyone yet. anyway, plots are good. lines are good. ic/ooc chatter is lovely.
okay and secondly, i have seth smdavis. he's a huge jackass, calls it like he sees it, and has a low tolerance for stupidity and bullshit. he has two younger sisters that he's extremely protective over (which, randomly, if anyone wants to bring in another character, i'd love to have this lines filled). he just married his long time, albeit dysfunctional, girlfriend dahanson. he probably won't be as vocal on the boards as berlin, just because that's not seth, but he'll pipe in every once in a while. it takes him a while to open up to people, but once he does, he's a nice guy. |

I don't know if I'll get any bites, but I thought I'd try this!
This is Jalen Kennedy - yes, related to those Kennedys. He's 27 years old and finishing up his last year in law school. On the surface, Jalen's sort of brash and he's very blunt. Like being a member of any prominent family, he is very far from an open book. Some find his 'honesty' refreshing, others just call him an asshole. He's also a shameless flirt, so some people might just think he needs to be 'tamed'. I figured he'd probably know some people here, he's been in New York for most of his life. He was married for two years but that ultimately ended in divorce. He also has a set of twins, five years old, Matthew and Maia, sharing joint custody with his ex. He very much prefers not to talk about his kids to strangers, as to sort of keep them away from their namesake, but he loves them more than anything else. So, I'd love a few people he's known for a while, be it good friends, exes, flings [he has literally no shame in one-nighters]. Anything other than 'cuddle partners', I'm more than game for. For those who don't remember him, this is TC Cowens. He is the asshole-ish older brother to a miss harleycowens, a cousin to anastaciadavis, _marina mckenna_rae (just hasn't met her yet) & samcowen and he is the guitarist and background vocals for Sarcastic Truth meaning he's floating through Europe right now. It also means he's the nephew of melindadavis and even though she won't admit it the love of frankiebaroni's life. That's his story, he's sticking to it!

This is Shane Delacourt. He's a detective with the NYPD. He's close friends with Natalie Harper Lowe whom he met due to the fact that his father was the lead on her brother's kidnapping case. Now that his father is retired, Shane has taken the case over and works on it in his spare time. When he's not doing any sort of case work, he enjoys reading and visiting the fine arts museums such as the Met and the Guggenheim. He needs friends and coworkers alike!

This right here is the newly app'd Genvieve Marcheline Gunthrie -- not that you'll ever have the privilege of calling her Genvieve. Well, unless you have masochistic tendencies. Because mostly she just hits people who call her that, aside from her parents. She's brash, outgoing, and the frontwoman to a local band. She plays guitar as well but mostly just focuses on her vocals. She also works at a local café near her apartment complex where she lives with a roommate that she wants to kill most of the time, so usually she either is in her room or out of the apartment. She has a tendency to say the worst possible things in the worst possible situations, but with all the best of intentions. She also has a fraternal twin brother who is her best friend in the world.

Right now the band is pretty successful and well-known, heard on mainstream rock radio stations and seen wherever they play music videos these days. She's very cute and very energetic, and enjoys coffee, the Yankees, and Tudor-era history. She needs everything! For those of you who don't remember her, (it has been awhile) this is Carrie Ashmore. She is 25 years old and originally from Charleston, South Carolina but when she graduated high school in 2002 she attended NYU (residing in the dorms) and then after graduation she lived in Brooklyn and worked at a Nursery School while she attended graduate courses (also at NYU). After an abrupt breakup with an ex boyfriend Carrie literally picked a point on the map and moved to San Diego where she met her now fiance jeremywright. They, along with Jeremy's daughter Lizzie, just recently moved to Staten Island and she is definitely need of any sort of lines. Carrie is very friendly, somewhat shy, and generally has a good and very positive outlook on life. |
