Rodolphus nodded. "It would be nice not to be alone." He paused. "There is someone else whose loyalties I'm not sure about. I'll have to watch him for a while and decide if it's safe to talk to him about it." He remembered how much Severus had insisted that bringing Him back was not possible. Rodolphus had always suspected that Severus might not only be pretending to be on Dumbledore's side. But he couldn't be sure. Not yet.
He grinned at her and stroked her hair. "I kind of like the idea of being the only one to call you Nymphadora too," he said softly. "Makes me feel special." He gave her a grin. "And I don't think I should be punished for that. Unless the punishment involves you getting naked and tying me up and..." He cleared his throat and grinned. "Sorry."
He turned serious then and sighed. "I know it's treason," he murmured. "And I know that Bellatrix won't let me go. I just..." He sighed, unable to believe he was actually saying this. "I guess I'm just assuming that... whenever He's gone, she will be, too." He looked up at her. "And if that happens, we can have that life. We can leave and start something new somewhere." He smiled at her, liking the idea. He brushed her hair back and kissed her again, sighing softly. He really liked that idea...
