Edward was staring at him, and Harry stared back - this rivalry with a bird was ridiculous, he knew, and at this point he was more into amusing Mandy with it than actually plotting against a small fowl. "That bird has issues," he said, and the bloody bird glared at him.
For some reason, that made him laugh and he realised it had been a while since he laughed - other than at Ron's color-changing private areas.
He thought for a moment about Mandy's comment. "DADA is one thing, but I just can't concentrate lately, you know?"
When he felt her muscles relax, he stopped and moved beside her, leaning his head on her shoulder and nestling it there. "I understand tired, trust me."
