Re: Checking Up on the Potters
"Whoa, whoa," said Remus, grabbing Harry's hands and turning him back 'round. "Sirius is probably just taking this hard, which is why he hasn't sought you out. He's a good guy, Harry, but he doesn't always keep the coolest head in times like these. As for Snape, ignore him. He's probably trying to you as some sort of sick revenge for how your father treated him."
He looked over his shoulder at Lily.
"Could you give us a second?" he asked, winking to indicate it'd be okay to listen from the kitchen door. When she was gone, he turned back to Harry.
"Harry," he said, steering the boy to the couch and sitting him down. "I know you're upset. I'm upset. But I need you to do something for me; I need you to make a promise. I need you to keep your head cool, Harry, and don't do anything stupid. Your mum needs you here, okay? Let the Aurors do their job, and Sirius and I will take care of checking in on Snape. Your job is to stay safe, focus on school, and write your mum, okay? I'm not saying this to sound like some stuffy old git, I'm saying this as your dad's mate, okay?"
