Pansy was alone, and while it was getting a tad late, she refused to give Draco the satisfaction of walking back to their common rooms together. If he'd have mentioned, 'we' it would have been another story. But he hadn't and Pansy had excused herself. She'd passed by the refreshment table, and glanced at the punch and the other students who were drinking it, and gave a small sigh, deciding to not try it for safety's sake.
She decided on a glass of pumpkin juice and sipped at it, watching the dancing couples and the other students milling. She couldn't believe she was alone now, and felt a bit like a wall flower. A very nicely dressed wall flower, but someone alone none the less.
