Lucius had excused himself from Narcissa, to find them something untainted to drink. He had moved to the edge of one of the doors, to summon a house-elf who appeared when called. After a moment, Lucius had two goblets of white wine for he and Narcissa to drink, and with them in hand, he began to make his way back to his wife, keeping an eye out for his son.
He steered clear of Narcissa's niece and Rodolphus, amused to see how flustered the girl seemed be becoming, and he managed to avoid the Potter woman and her mutt of a friend. His eyes scanned the crowd as he walked with an easy gait back to where he thought he would find his wife.
