Luna looked over at him and laughed softly. "I promise. But they're very peaceful and they won't bite you. I promise."

She led him towards the Thestral and reached out to gently stroke its back. She took Oli's hand and placed it on the Thestral's back while she moved forward to stroke it's neck. "Hi," she said softly, smiling when the beast looked at her curiously.

She looked back at Oliver. "They look like horses, just without the fur. They're black and a little unusual-looking. I suppose people would be afraid of them if they didn't know what they were. And they have wings, of course."

She reached up to stroke one of the Thestral's wings, smiling at him. "One of them had a baby the other day. They're really adorable. I often come down here to feed them."
