"Snape?" Remus asked. "No, not really. I bumped into him a few months ago before Hogwarts ended for summer holiday, but it's been a while. You should write him. Or better yet, go up with James when he goes to visit Sirius and make a detour to the dungeons. You're bound to find him there."
He didn't mind Snape, really. The only reason they rarely spoke was because Remus was friends with James and Sirius. When he thought about it, he and Snape were really rather similar and they'd probably get along fine. But there was an issue of alliances and stubborn temperaments that stood in the way.
"Maybe you can convince him and an appropriate suitor to join our dinner date," he teased. "Then again, I think James would have an issue with that..."
