"That would require actual planning on my part, and I would never make a game of such a thing." she whispered sharply, it was the truth. She was merely trying to reach out as one human being to another-- and she had come on too strong, she was willing to admit that-- but she would not ever put an 'infatuation' with it.
"If that's how you feel, please forget we had this conversation and that I offered anything to you. Because I can see that you are content to be how you are." she finished, shortly-- but it was her own truth. He confused the hell out of her. His mouth said one thing, his body language said another. Better to wash her hands of it now.
"Have a good evening, Severus." she said, accenting it in her own annoyance. With a flick of the wand the tea set returned to its rightful place and her book flew into her arms.
