Things change

After another long day of work, I decided to actually head off to a bar and have a drink outside of home for once. Things were fine at home, but sometimes it feels better to not just simply relax at home. A demon had basically tried to beat my ass when I went out with Angel and the others for a demon slaying, so now I was all bruised up and had a black eye. I wasn't exactly dying to have Lilah see it and question the hell out of me for it, so I decided to head to a nearby bar.

After sitting down at the bar, I ordered a glass of Scotch from the bartender, winching slightly and reaching up for my eye. Damn this was likely going to hurt even worse tomorrow.

I accepted the glass with a nod in thanks and took a sip of it.
