The day had been, well, a day to say the least. Adrien had to be stopped, by his own father because he had nearly killed Bastian for his embarrassing behavior. Adrien was not known to lose his temper easily, but he’d grown exhausted having to deal with young bastian again, and again. Adrien felt there was no hope for the disgrace and decided that he’d be more useful dead. Having zero fucking tolerance for the boy any longer. Adrien’s father stopped him, however, told him to go kill someone, get drunk off their blood, and relax.

He explained that he’d deal with young Bastian, also explaining to Adrien that he expected there would be a change back to the families name before the end of the day. That young Bastians name would be changed as well, and while he was at it, Adrien needed to have bastian excused from school all together because he was going to be attending a different level of schooling over the next week. Listening to his father Adrien did just that, and made arrangements. Adriens father was the law, and you did not at any point in time question it. Nor did you take even a second to question it, if you did that, it was simple - you’d be dead before you could think any further.

Adrien sat silently in a chair that was just near a window. The moonlight gazing in to bring a very dim glow to the room. He sat with one leg crossed, ankle resting upon his knee. His dark eyes full desire, deep passion watched as his black rose slept ever so peaceful in her bed. The scent of her breath roused a dangerous lust inside of him, and it took every ounce of strength to contain himself. To not walk over to her bed, wake her, her, and make her his. No, he’d not do that, it wasn’t time just yet. Not here, and certainly not now.

Adrien had no need to take his claim in such a hurry. Tatienne was his. She’d been his from birth, a promise, and despite his absence from her life, Tatienne, still, and would always belong to him. There was no need to wake her, however. Tatienne would soon open her beautiful dazzling eyes..the scent of her father would rouse her, and while she sleep at current, already, she knew he was there in the room. Adrien would just wait, and she would come to him.

Upon the end table next to bed rested a beautifully wrapped box in black and red ribbon. Inside the box, the heart of a child. Still warm with blood, as the heart had just been surgically removed within the past hour. (One of the pleasures to being a doctor) As a child, it had always been a treat for Tatienne. The way her eyes lit up, the smile that danced along her lips, and how she tasted, upon taking of the human heart. The thought of those times brought a devilishly handsome smirk to the corners of his lips. Tonight, would be a new beginning for the both of them.

The events of the next couple of days was going to be a new beginning as well, there were many plans, and some of those plans involved Adrien taking his claim over Tatienne. A claim that had been long over due. “ I’ve given you more than enough time, and plenty of space. It’s over, I’m done waiting. “ Adrien said in a calm, but very strong dominating tone of voice.

Who: Jin-Sang and Tatienne
When: Evening
Where: The pool room
What: Mathieu would like swimming lessons.

Mathieu did not speak often, and because of that, when he did speak, Tatienne listened. This did not mean, however, that she always liked what she heard. And when the boy requested to go swimming, well, that didn't please her at all. For one, being part fire demon, being a Laroque, she didn't care for water. And for two, the fear of drowning, even if she couldn't remember what her mother had done, was strong within her, and that wasn't likely to ever subside. It had taken her years upon years to become okay with taking a shower without throwing a tantrum about it. A bath was still out of the question. So swimming... That was a path down which she would not travel.

But because she disliked something didn't automatically mean that Matthieu should be denied it. If he wanted something, he should have it. And it really was a simple request. And the happier she made the child, the more likely it would be that he would come out of his shell and actually start to learn and grow. She would do anything to increase his worth, for one, and for two, she would do anything simply because she loved him.

It was this unconditional love that she felt for a child that wasn't even biologically her own that drove her to be in the one place that she feared more than any other place upon this campus, chapels included, the pool room. The heels of her shoes upon her dainty feet echoed off of the walls in a way that was completely ominous to her, and every hair upon her body stood on edge as she crossed over to the adjacent office and knocked softly upon the open door.

"Professor Connor?" Her accent was thick and distinctly French for anyone that knew anything of the language. "Have you a moment?" She would not interrupt him if he were busy, of course she would much rather get this done and over with so that she may not have to come here again.

Who: Reggie and Tatienne
When: Evening
Where: Reggie's Room
What: The siblings speak.

Tatienne had gotten the email from Reggie quite a while back. She had intended to reply but.. She simply couldn't think of what she wanted to write. She didn't know what to say to him. She didn't know him at all. That wasn't to say that she hated him, but that wasn't to say that she felt any sort of kinship towards him either. She just felt.. nothing really, neither like nor dislike. It was all still up in the air. Just because he was family, blood, didn't mean that she had to care. And the fact that her father had left her for his mother, well, let us just say that that did put a slight damper on their potential relationship.

But that didn't mean that she wouldn't put forth a little bit of effort to at least get to know him before she decided if she cared about him or not, before she answered his question as to whether or not she hated him. And it was the decision that she would give him a little bit of her time before judging him that led her to be where she was right now, standing outside of his room in the boys' dormitory.

Mathieu was with the nanny, as he should be, just in case things went bad. And she knew that Reggie was inside the room because she could feel him there, just as easily as she could feel her father, or any other member of her bloodline, whenever they were around. He was resting. The sound of his heart wasn't beating quickly enough for him to be doing anything else. A pale hand reached up to knock upon the door softly, a few raps given in warning before she just opened the door. He was alone. She knew that too. And hopefully decent, not that that really mattered. The Laroque family didn't have quite the same sense of morality as a human family would.

I will deal with him soon. )

Who: Tatienne and Bastian (Adrien)
When: Sunday Evening
Where: The Infirmary to start.
What: Adrien has been a very bad boy and is about to get caught.

There were no words in the English language, or any other language, to describe what Tatienne was feeling right now. Even little Mathieu knew it. He was on edge when she kissed him goodbye and told him to behave for his nanny. And even though she assured him that everything was fine and she would be back as soon as possible, he was still tense, and she hated to leave him, but she had to go. There was no possible way she could simply make herself forget and spend the evening with him instead of tracking her father down, even if that may have been the smart thing for her to do.

It was almost an hour to the dot after she had found that boy that she entered the infirmary on campus. She had calmed down quite a bit since then, but that was really all just a facade. Quietly she strolled to the nurse's station and asked where she may find head physician. She may not have known the alias that he was using, Dr. Skyler apparently, until that moment, but Adrien's ego was nothing if not predictable. He would settle for nothing less than being the boss and she knew it. A soft "thank you" was given as directions to his office were received and then she set about her way to the second floor.

She had planned on going into the place, simply yelling for him, loud enough to reverberate through every wall in this place, but her temper had calmed since that idea had initially struck her. So instead, she went about it the subtle way, heels clicking upon the tiled floor as she followed the directions, the scent of him, the feel of him, growing ever closer with each step. She didn't stop until she found herself silhouetted in his doorway. "Bonjour, mon pere." She said softly, but her jaw was set in anger and fire danced behind her pale green eyes.

Who: Tatienne, Mathieu, and Reggie
When: Early Afternoon
Where: The Yard
What: A familiar scent is in the air.

Mathieu wanted to play, and what Mathieu wanted, Mathieu got, even if Tatienne should have been inside of their apartment working on getting things unpacked, or overseeing their things being unpacked rather. But she left the men with strict orders as to where everything belonged, and all of the boxes were clearly marked so hopefully they would not mess things up too terribly. If they did, well, she would address it as she saw fit, but for now, she wasn't going to think of it.

"It's chilly out here." Tatienne's voice was always so soft, so smooth, almost monotone but not quite. When she spoke, she sounded shy and reserved, though underneath that exterior, she was anything but. She was demanding, calculating, and cold. That coldness faltered, however, when Mathieu looked at her with those lovely blue eyes of his. "I expect you to leave your coat on."

There was a play area in the building where Mathieu could have played, but that wasn't where he wanted to be. He wanted to play outside with one of his remote controlled airplanes, so she had taken him to the yard where there was plenty of room for him to run, and had let him go, after giving him a kiss upon the forehead, standing roughly ten to fifteen feet off from him simply watching him play. And then it happened.

The air around her stirred up a familiar scent, one that caused her to close her eyes and inhale deeply. She felt every hair on her body stand on edge and she opened her eyes to glance quickly around the yard. It smelled like... family. The scent did not belong to Tristan nor did it belong to her grandfather. She knew both of their scents by heart. Could it have been...?

"Mathieu!" She yelled, and then spoke in that same soft voice of hers once he turned towards her. "Do not move from this place. I will be right back." He nodded his head and then turned his focus back to his toy, and with reluctance, Tatienne moved from the spot, losing sight of him only for an instant as she followed the scent towards the East.
