The Tiberius J. Swann Education Facility

Who: Sophia and Heath
When: Late Afternoon
Where: Her dorm room
What: Apparently they have a child together?

So Heath still thought that Heather was full of shit, but it seemed to add up if he really thought about it. He hadn't gone to her right away, but instead he had decided to research it and, lo and behold, Sophia Roberts was here, with a child, a little girl, Ella. But just because she was here and she had a child didn't mean that it was his. But then again, had the kid belonged to the man Sophia had been married to, there was no way in hell that they'd be here. Unless he was dead, which he wasn't.

With all of that in mind, Heath was almost convinced as he walked across the school grounds and headed towards the dorms. This place was chaos, especially today, what with the full moon tonight and all. It was perhaps because of this that no one really cared where he was going, only that he was going inside, and that he was to stay there once the sun went down until the morning came. Well that might happen. It would really just depend on how fucked up Sophia was in the head right now.

I am nowhere near ready for this. That was the last thought he had before he knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.

Who: Heath and Sophia
When: Monday Evening
Where: Sophia's dorm room
What: Heath stops by unexpectedly

Heath had spent the entire holiday, and then some, in Taiwan. He'd done a lot of thinking during that time, as well as a lot of fucking and a lot of drugs, and he had come to a conclusion. He had to forgive her. He had to put it behind the both of them so they could move forward, otherwise he'd never be able to fully be a part of his daughter's life. His daughter. That still seemed strange. But he was adapting to the idea slowly, and he was looking forward to meeting her, to getting to know her, to becoming that man for her.

And so the moment he arrived back at TJS, having stayed behind for a while after Heather and Karishma had headed back to Danvers, he made his way into the dorms and down the hall to Sophia's room. He knocked on the door and waited, anxious as he glanced down at his feet and then smoothed hands over his attire to make sure he looked presentable, or as presentable as he could be after such a long, international flight.

When Heath heard the doorknob turn, he reached a hand inside of his pocket to make sure that the object inside was still there. He took a deep breath and exhaled it slowly. A smile graced his lips when he finally saw her. She was always even more beautiful than he remembered each and every time that he saw her.

What: Sophia having to explain to her daughter about Heath.
Where: The Roberts residence.
When: New Years Day

Who: Sophia and Heath
What: Argueing.
Where: His apartment
When: Wednesday late afternoon/early evening.

Sophia had no idea what was up with Heath, but she supposed she would see soon enough. Not that that calmed her any, normally she would be looking forward to the fact that she was going to see him without having to worry about Ella, but since when did 'we have to talk' mean anything good? Plus he was being short with his answers... yeah this wasn't going to be as fun a trip as she wished it could be. Then again, perhaps she could lead it that way and avoid any unpleasantness she pondered. This was just not good for her. She liked to know what was happening at all times, she hated the unexpected! All the way over to the staff apartments she was trying to figure things out. He couldn't know about Ella could he? No... Edward wouldn't have told him would he? No. Her soon to be ex-husband was too nice to do that, despite how ruthless he could be in business. Perhaps someone had found out about the two of them and he just wanted to tell her they needed to be careful? Argh! This was killing her!

So pretty much spot on the five minutes she had told him she would be she knocked on his door, standing there in jeans tucked into knee high boots and a pristine black sweater, her hands tucked into her back pockets. It was about as casual as Sophia ever really got.

Who: Sophia and Heath (And Ella of course)
What: Kid drama and takeaway!!!
Where: Heath's apartment.
When: Thursday Evening.

So this should be interesting. The first time Heath met Ella. Ever since he had told her he wanted to meet her daughter, and she had arranged tonight, she had been thinking about the possible eventualities. Was he going to see himself in the little girl? Heather hadn't but still..... Should she tell him? Charlie had said it was best to do it as early as possible. She knew she was going to have to spill the secret eventually, maybe Charlie was right. If she told him tonight he might not be as pissed with her as if she kept it to herself for even longer.  Truth be told she wasn't scared of his reaction really, she would get by whatever, she just hated not knowing how he would react. Sophia didn't like surprises dammit! She planned everything to the letter. As she walked across to his apartment she even had excuses for why she was going there. It was helpful that his sister just so happened to be her sponsor, that made it even easier to have a reason for visiting their place.

Standing on his doorstep with Ella, who had decided today to wear a brown dress and knee high boots, Sophia checked again that the wine and take away menus were in her bag, straightened out her own dress (green, she was colour co-ordinated with her daughter it seemed when you saw her own brown knee high boots) and knocked.

Who: Heath and Sophia
What: "Catching up"
Where: Hotel in town.
When: Sunday.

Sophia had been so on edge about this school and the situation she was in ever since she discovered Heath worked there. Was Heath going to see something in Ella and realise the truth? Should she tell him the truth? Should she just let them have their day today and tell him at a later date? There were so many 'ifs' and 'buts' she didn't know how to plan for, and if there was one thing that annoyed Sophia it was not having everything under her control. There were definitely too many uncontrollables in this situation. Luckily she didn't have to deal with him meeting their daughter yet, so she should be able to just enjoy today. She had kept this secret for almost 7 years already, what was a little longer? Secrets she could do.

So far, so good though. Heather seemed nice enough, Ella liked her and everything appeared to be going smoothly. She was most definitely not in the mood to blab anything and ruin it all, not that Sophia was much of the outburst type, she preferred to choose her own times and conditions. So leaving Ella with Heather, Sophia waved goodbye to the little girl, still feeling that same fear at leaving her with a new person she always did, and headed for her car and to the hotel to meet Heath. 

It wasn't hard to find, thank heavens for Sat Nav, and despite this being new territory for her she made good time. The key was collected with the use of the same name they had always used for these little 'meetings' and she went up to the room. She never tired of the adrenaline that came from meeting a man in secret, especially not Heath. Still, she waited outside the door, fixed the classic black sheath dress she wore and the little sections of hair that hung free of the twist her hair was in, then she opened the door and stepped inside.

"Happy Birthday" She greeted in slightly husky tones.
