Since it seemed that she was going to be around here for awhile, it made sense to Lily to try and have some kind of social life that didn't revolve totally around Rez. After all, she had promised Adam that she would try not to steal his uncle's attention all the time, and that was a hard promise to keep when she had nothing else to occupy her time. Plus, as much as she hated to admit it, she had missed Nox. Nox was stable, he was quiet and understanding and put up with an awful lot of shit from her when she'd been a boy. And maybe she loved him, too, but whatever. That wasn't the relevant part.
Wearing one of Rez's tee shirts, one of his sweatshirts, and quite possibly one of his pairs of jeans, Lily looked adorably rumpled as she made her way to Nox's office. Her hair was behaving itself for the moment, staying black, but she was pretty sure that she was chubbier than she had been this morning (hence Rez's clothing). But that might have been "water weight", or hormones, or some other girly curse that completely sucked. It was impossible to know.
She paused at the door, sucking in a deep breath before grabbing the handle and going inside. Maybe Nox would hate the way she looked now. She knew that Fisher looked pretty pathetic, which was probably why he'd gotten away with so much shit, but she didn't know how she looked now. Rez thought she was pretty, but Rez was weird. Maybe to the rest of the world she was one weird looking chick. "H-hey," she said nervously to the man behind the desk, shutting the door quietly behind her. "Um... so yeah. Me."
