Who: Sydni and Mikhail
What: BEST NEWS EVER
Where: Mikhail's Room
Sydni had started off the day badly. Very badly. Her father had called her at 5 am to tell her he was in town. What?! It had taken her a few minutes to even figure out that he meant literally, in town, at the airport waiting for her to pick him up. It was so crazy she was certain the entire ride there that he was not actually going to be there. She thought she was going crazy. But he was there, and he looked... ecstatic?
It didn't take long for Sydni to find out why, and she burst into tears, laughing at the same time. She had to hug her dad because her legs couldn't hold her. The brunette was not the type to just take off for a day, but she spent the entire day with her father, in Boston. She turned off her phone, except when she was talking to her mom. She couldn't make it because the cost for two tickets was too much, but Sydni knew she'd go home for Christmas. Hopefully, Mikhail would like to come, too.
Reluctantly, she returned her father to the airport late that evening. Two 7 hour flights for a 12 hour visit? Yeah, it was only worth it this one time. But it was totally worth it. Sad as she was to see her father go, the lycan couldn't stop fidgeting on the ride back. She couldn't wait to tell Mikhail. She'd dialed his number more than once, but this was something she had to say in person.
Finally arriving at her destination, she practically flew up to his room, knocking when she discovered the door was locked. Geez... It was late. But Sydni didn't care. She would knock until he got up. And as soon as he opened the door, she lept into his arms, hooking her legs around his hips, and planting a very passionate kiss on him. She was so overwhelmed, she could taste salty tears in the kiss. But they were happy tears. "I have awesome news," she murmured, when she finally took a breath.
