Who: Frankie and Lincoln
When: Friday evening
Where: random bar
What: getting together for drinks
Frankie wasn't sure what to make of Lincoln. He seemed socially awkward, but maybe he just seemed off because she'd not met him, and computers sucked at communicating personality. She'd have a better feel for him after meeting him, and it was nice of him to offer to take her out for drinks. It was Friday night, she should
be out having drinks! There was no sense in sitting around in her PJs another full weekend, and she knew Vinnie was sick of babysitting her. He actually had a life, unlike her, so she needed to change that. It was time to get out and meet new people.
She dressed as quickly as she could, trying to make sure she looked cute but not like she was interested in getting some. Frankie needed to communicate the right message. She wanted to get to know this guy as a friend
. Maybe leather pants
weren't the best way to get that message across, but they were really cute! They were also fairly warm, and it was cold out. She made sure to layer up with an undershirt, sweater, jacket and scarf. Covering skin would surely help with the whole friend thing, right?
About eighteen minutes after she told him to give her fifteen minutes, Frankie hurried across the lawn to the student parking lot, her heels clicking when she reached pavement. She saw a man standing beside a green truck, and she waved while still rushing. "Sorry! It took me longer than I said, but you should know, this is still totally a record for me. I don't think I've ever gotten ready for a night out so fast." She had on minimal makeup, just some blush, red lipstick and mascara. Her hair wasn't overly worked either. It had a natural, curly bounce to it, and was slightly messy.
