Where: Ethiel's room
When: eveningish
What: Just spending time together.
Her conversation with Ethiel was a huge slap across the face for Arcelia. She made him feel uncomfortable with her flirty ways and he did not like it. At all, it seemed. Guilt swept over her and before she knew it, she cried for a couple of minutes. Retouching her makeup was a must before going out, so she did and remained in her t-shirt and jeans. Nothing too sexy... this was a new Arcelia. She had never been so desperate to make a guy like her because deep down she wanted a serious relationship. Trouble was, she wasn't quite sure what to do with an introverted man such as Ethiel.
She brought along a book and a picture album, figuring they were good topics of conversation because he could make fun of her for all the crazy things she did. The trip to his room took longer than she thought due to nervous and she knocked on his door. "Hi," she said with a small smile after he opened it. "I brought a couple of things... I figured it'd be low-key and stuff." She sat on his bed and placed the album next to her, holding the book up for him to see.
"Edward Lear," Arcelia added. "Okay, it's not Shakespeare, but it's really fun to read the limericks aloud. When I was younger, my dad read them to me in funny voices and so they kinda stuck in my mind." She had read some of the more classical works of literature, but she needed something humorous.... Arc hoped he wouldn't mind and go along with it. Surely this wasn't too low brow for him, right?
