It was a cold walk from the dorms over to Bastian's apartment. In spite of being bundled up in her leather jacket, Estrella was shivering by the time she made it to his door. She was used to cold weather, sure. Detroit was no walk in the desert, but that didn't mean that New England cold wasn't different. It was. And she had only one thought as she lifted a hand to knock on his door, the food better be worth it. Of course she already knew that it would be.

Shoving her hands in her pocket as she waited, she had Lula safely tucked away in one of them. Of course she brought her with her. How else would she keep the joke running? And Bastian didn't seem to mind her slightly quirky sense of humor, a big part of the reason why she was here right now even though she already knew what her brother would have to say about this. Something along the lines of "Hell naw, little sis." But he wasn't here right now, was he? And she'd sacrificed enough of her life for his benefit already.

Cassie had to go bug this new and apparently hot member of staff on principle, it was part of who she was. Just like the chaos she liked to create around any and all newcomers when she could. Put these things together and something curious had happened. Some photos and some information was uncovered almost by accident, and the chaos demon was intrigued. It certainly appeared to be Bastian, but there were no absolute links, and he had avoided her probing comments, leaving her not completely sure she knew what she thought she did, but hoping she did. Time would tell.

So, five minutes after her last message to him, without express warning she would be right there, one half demon, in dress, jacket and combat boots, knocked on Bastian's door and tried the handle. That counted, right?

Estrella knew she should have grabbed the map that came in her welcome packet before she had headed out of her dorm this morning, but she thought she had it covered. And now she was wandering around some dark, dank hallway trying to find her way BACK to her dorm room and she had no idea how to get there from here. As a bonus, there wasn't anyone around right now for her to ask. So she was just wandering, hoping to see something vaguely familiar to light her way or, at the very least, to bump into someone she could ask. She was just about to pull out her cellphone and call the main office when a nearby door opened and she managed to catch sight of the backside of a person as they started up the hallway quite a ways up from where she stood. "Hello!" She called out, taking off in the direction where she had seen the person emerge. "Hey, you there!"
