Connor leaned against the wall, watching to see who else would be coming to this. He was told that this was a chance to meet everyone else who had either arrived here or had lived here. Perhaps he'd even get to finally meet the king. He had some things he wanted to talk to him about. Like first of all, when would he be going home. That was one of the most important items on Connor's mind, he and his family had things to do and he couldn't be bothered sitting around and waiting to get sent back home. Sighing he rubbed the tattoo on his finger, a nervous habit he'd started recently.

Though maybe he would attempt to enjoy the night, save business for later. Now he just wanted a drink.

Anne nodded, taking his hand and following him to the dance floor. It was an easy dance, and she knew the steps well. She seemed to glide across the dance floor, her movements effortless and flawless. She knew she always attracted attention when she danced and tonight was no different. Of course the fact she was dancing with a lycan would draw even more attention.

"You aren't a bad dancer, Master Richard."

Richard sighed as he danced with her, trying his best not to make any missteps. Or at least not to step on her feet, as tempting as it was. He hated having to walk the fine line, he wanted to prod at her, make her snap in front of everyone. Yet he couldn't chance it just yet, not till at least he figured out what the king wanted.

"Why thank you, Princess Anne. A compliment to one of my kind, I didn't think you had it in your."

"You should know I don't dislike all of your kind," she said with a soft smirk, continuing to dance, even as the music changed to a much livelier tune. "I simply adore my stepfather." That might be a small lie. Anne was a wee bit jealous of how her father could ignore her when it came to Charles.

"Besides, Father wanted me to start socializing more with appropriate men."

"I prefer my company to be far more civilized," she said with a smirk, slightly amused when he pulled her closer. "Artists, poets... those who appreciate the finer things." She didn't understand why he would refuse to live at court, to be surrounded by the splendor and beauty her sire provided. Why was it the attractive ones always had to be so uncouth?

"Father says I need to be seen with more lycans and nobles." She tried not to roll her eyes, it was unbecoming of a princess. "And does he?" Anne was curious now.

"Ahhh, but you never know just who appreciate the finer things. Even the poor can appreciate the fine arts but would you associate with them?" It was a legitimate question that he was quite curious to know what the answer would be. Though she was a princess she still had him wonder about somethings.

"Father knows best." He offered, "Oh yes, seems he has an offer that knows I won't be able to resist."

"The world should be full of beauty," she said, even more amused by his reactions. This was her power, and she knew it, to be able to seduce a man through beauty. "I desire to have the very best at court."

The growl only caused her to move against him firmer. She had not indulged her more carnal nature in quite a long time, and Richard did look like a delicious meal. "We are royal, and we are Toreador."

"I would have to agree with that." Taking a slow breath, he knew he was playing a very dangerous game. The thoughts of the meeting with the king were fleeting and now all he wanted to do was to put Anne in her place. "Yet I am not there, can't have the best without me."

Moving one hand lower, he cupped arse before squeezing it roughly. This was going to end badly, and he had a feeling one of them would probably end up hurt. Yet he couldn't bring himself to care, "And I suggest we move elsewhere."

Anne could not help herself. She had to roll her eyes at that. "You should be at court. As Charles's second, you need to claim your position of power." She did not understand him, not at all.

His next action brought a scowl to her face. There was courtly flirting and there was vulgar behavior and Richard had crossed the line. "I do not know what you think of me, but I am the Princess and I am not to be treated in such a manner." She had to refrain from slapping him across the face.

Anne was horrified and oddly turned on by Richard's display of... manliness. She did enjoy a man who was a man, and besides, getting him alone would allow her to do what she wanted, to taste him. Lycan blood was so much sweeter. Besides, word would get back to her father she was socializing with him, and that would please him.

She smirked and followed him out of the room. She thought he really didn't know just how much fire he was playing with when it came to the Princess.

Richard was slightly worried that she hadn't put up that much of a fight, but he wasn't about to let that bother him. This was his chance to finally put her in her place, to assert his power as she said. He knew she wasn't weak, not by a long shot but he also knew she was much stronger then her.

Leading her out and down a hallway he slammed her against the wall, pressing himself against her with another growl, "What do you think you were doing back there?"

Anne knew that with a simple call, she would have guards and ladies at her beck and call, so she wasn't worried. She also knew she could throw him across the room if she so desired. She let him slam her against the wall, the smirk never leaving her face. "You should come to court more often. That would be called flirtation."

She didn't fight him, and instead pressed a kiss against his neck. She liked how he smelled. She might find him a brute, but she couldn't help but be aroused by it, and she suspected she was having the same affect on him.

"Why? Do that for all of the visitors?" Flirtation or not she had gotten to him, and he didn't quite know how to take it. This was the exact reason he stayed away from court, he didn't need distractions like her. He was quite content spending his days in his home.

The kiss surprised him, but then again he hadn't known what quite to expect. Grabbing her wrists, he squeezed tightly before letting go of one wrist to trail his hand down her side.

"Only the important ones," Anne said before nipping at his ear, "or the ones I know it annoys." This was fun for her. She did enjoy playing games and this was the sweetest kind. She had to admit, she liked the feel of his hands on her. She really had gone far too long without.

She had to keep reminding herself how much she loathed him, and how annoying he was, with his brutish attitude and desires not to come to court. Still, she could use this to her advantage. She always could.

"So I am important." Richard growled louder, letting go of her wrists completely before lifting her up before pressing her back against the wall. Once he made sure she wasn't going anywhere he ran a hand up her leg and under her skirt. Her skin was so smooth it was remarkable.

Looking her over he leaned in and began to sniff her, at least there was some pluses to being a Lycan. He smelled no fear though and that bothered him some.

Anne wrapped her legs around his waist, her heavy skirt falling back and revealing far more of her legs than usual. Truthfully, if anyone walked in on them, it might cause quite a scandal. Anne didn't care, though, at the moment. She deserved her fun and this was delicious. "You are second to my stepfather, King Consort. In a way... you are the same I as I am to the lycans." She ran her tongue over his pulse, feeling tempted.

"In fact, I would not be surprised if you aren't trying to become Prince Richard." She smirked at that thought.

"I hadn't thought of that... but I guess you're right." He didn't feel like it was quite the same thing. He doubted that Anne ran around with her father naked enjoying the full moon and all it had to offer. Though if she did there would something very disturbing about that. He couldn't prevent the shudder when felt her tongue, this was very quickly getting out of control.

"Now why would I want that position." Dragging his fingers over her thigh, he then began to pull at her knickers. Stopping his sniffing he began to nip at her shoulder, determined trying his best to keep calm.

She laughed, the sound echoing in the empty halls. Was he that naive? "You know the treaty between us is only as good as Charles's marriage to my father. Seducing me would mean securing that peace." She was not as dull and vapid as he might think.

She licked over his pulse again, his movements giving her silent permission. She slowly sunk her fangs into his neck, savoring his taste, and the feel of him flowing into her. She had the power to make her bite very pleasurable and was using it to her full advantage on him. She knew it could be addictive on humans, but she had never tried with a lycan. She did know his blood was intoxicating, and she knew she wanted more.

"Ah, but who said I wanted peace?" There was something oddly haunting about the echoing laugh. He was enjoying the feel of her tongue, that all changed when he felt the bite. Howling, he gripped he moved his hands up her legs to grip her thighs tightly. He'd never been bitten before but he was enjoying it.

"Anne..." He spoke low between pants as he rested his head on her shoulder, what little grip he had on keeping calm was going fast. "What did you just do..."

Anne continued to suck the wound, careful not to drink too deep. She liked the fact she had marked him, and knew that even though he was a lycan and would heal fast, there would be no mistaking, at least tonight, that he had been marked by her. That was almost as much power as taking his blood.

She pulled back and licked her lips, "That feels good, doesn't it?" She didn't let him answer, but instead pressed her still bloodstained lips to his.

RIchard's eyes rolled back, this was certainly something he'd never experienced before but wouldn't mind feeling it again. He could see what the pull of vampires were, but he would still say the Lycans were better. If they had just fucked things wouldn't have changed, this however would change everything.

He was about to answer but was cut off by her, the taste of his own blood seeped into his mouth. A Lycans taste for blood was no where near as powerful as a vampire but it didn't mean they didn't enjoy it. It was as if something snapped inside him, he gave up being nice. He all but ripped her knickers off, he desperately wanted her now. He moved one hand to drop his own trousers, getting frustrated when they didn't budge. He yanked them down, listening to the buttons hit the floor before lifting her slightly higher and thrust into her.

This certainly wasn't where Anne had planned for this to go. She wasn't the kind of girl to just shag someone in a hallway, but she also didn't want to stop. She knew this was trouble, this was not officially a very bad idea, but she wasn't thinking clearly. She kept her mouth to his, mostly to quiet the moans that were threatening to escape her mouth and attract attention to them.

Her fingers dug into his shoulders and she let him have her, fighting her instinct to taste him again. She would, but it would wait until they were completely lost in pleasure. She knew he would crave her again if she did.
