Well it looks like I need a hiatus. I'm going up to Maine (Mere Point by the way, Manda) for the long weekend and there is no internet where we're staying, so you won't see me until Tuesday or Wednesday depending on work. On that note, I'm sorry I've been a bit sporadic, work and RL have been keeping me very busy. If anything needs my attention, point me to it, and if you need me this weekend, shoot me an e-mail. I'll have my BlackBerry so we can pretend that will work.

So! Friday night's quidditch scores that I failed to post because plans of catching up over the weekend got sidetracked into reading the worst novel ever had the Pride of Portree defeating the Wimbourne Wasps in the first upset of the finals, 330 to 270. It was a close match, lasting well into the next day.

And tonight was the first match of the semi-finals, Montrose vs. Falmouth. In another surprise upset, the first seeded Magpies were knocked out of the tournament by the Falcons. It was a long and violent match (that technically isn't over yet) but at some point early tomorrow morning (around 10am game time), the Magpie seeker will get thrown from his broom after a Falmouth beater sends a bludger into his head and the Falcons seeker grabs the snitch, ending the game with a final score of 640 to 610.

Caradoc says Frank, if you gloat you are getting locked in the basement.

jsyak the play i'm doing tech for opens on thursday - so monday, tuesday, thursday and friday i'll be going straight from work to the theatre and not getting back until after 11. me being me i'd normally catch up on things in the morning, but in order to not completely die before the weekend, i'm going to need every last scrap of sleep.

so! consider this very much my hiatus until saturday morning for a bit if i'm lucky, or else sunday afternoon, providing we're quick at clearing up. i'll probably check in at work if things are quiet, but no promises on that front.

Hi everyone! This is Ali with another character. (I know) So please run your friends button. But I'll get to her in a minute.

First, quidditch! Tonight's game was a close one between the Falcons and the Tornadoes and really is probably still going on but since I'm going to bed... My trusty coin flipper says the Falcons won... barely. The match went on for eight hours (which means it will be ending around two am) when the Falcons seeker finally grabbed the snitch, preventing what would have otherwise been a Tornadoes blow out. Final score was 220 Falcons to 200 Tornadoes. The game was very heavy on the fouls and three Tornadoes players were knocked out over the course of the game. Fun times!

Now for the new girl! This is Anne Boleyn Lucia Wilkes née Rookwood. She's Rooky's daughter and a society bitch and a Death Eater and ummm... she wants to be your friend? I actually wrote a profile for her! Although I haven't quite gotten to the personality yet but basically she was Slytherin, class of '72 (same year as Evan and one of the NPC McKinnons) and really never made it onto anyone's evil bitch radar until she was outed as a DE. She was actually notably friendly with the other houses and those of "lesser blood" when they were in Hogwarts, even if it was mostly an act. Her daddy taught her to play nice with the masses. She married Holland Wilkes shortly after leaving school - he's several years older, notably not a Death Eater and works as a barrister on criminal crap for the purists (so when your Death Eater needs a team of lawyers to get them off, he's probably one of them) and she actually had two kids before just recently joining up with the Death Eaters last year. She's not really a physical fighter so much as someone who's likely to slip poison into your drink when you're not paying attention and ummm... that's all I've got.

Plots? Friends? Enemies? She'll be friendly with just about anyone, at least superficially.

Hey all! Life is a little crazy for me right now, so I'm going to do what I should have done like two weeks ago and hiatus for the next three weeks at the end of which things should go back to normal. Not to interrupt your regularly scheduled misery and torture, but...

First quidditch match of the league cup: Magpies vs. Catapults. The match lasted for about three hours before the Magpie seeker caught the snitch. Final score: 410 Magpies, 140 Catapults.

Complications of strep throat + more antibiotics than I can count = all I want to do/am really capable of is sleep. So hiatus until... I have no gd clue.

I'd like to say I'll respond to things directly affecting my chars, but I'll play that by ear as time goes on. <333

Just to be safe, I'm taking a mini-hiatus until Sunday night. ILU ALL! E-mail me if you need me, because I'll be around some at night (hopefully).

Activity check time! This activity check covers all activity between May 5th and June 4th.

For every character who was added prior to May 5th, you need to comment with links to two pieces of activity that you have posted this month. Hey y'all! I'm back!!!

It's so nice to be home and not busy out of my mind but now I'm totally and completely stressed that I've missed stuff and need to catch up! Hello everyone, it's Suzanne with a fifth character, and omg, shocker, it's a girl. Armageddon is clearly upon us.

Meet Elisabeth Bagnold, daughter to Millicent Bagnold, Ravenclaw class of '76, hitwitch, resident DMLE optimist, and last but not least, Aston's partner (because he could use more sunshine and rainbows in his life, obviously). Elisabeth is friendly and cheerful, and she tries to find the silver-lining in everything. If your character is down, she will try to cheer them up. She may also have at some point volunteered to colour-code and reorganise your character's desk and everything in it to a ridiculous degree, and if she fancies herself someone's friend, she probably hasn't even bothered to ask for permission and has done it anyway.

She just asks one favour. Do. Not. Mention. Her. Mother. Ever. Do not ask if she is Millicent's daughter. She will give you a look that could set you on fire. They have issues. If that topic is avoided, she remains adorable and sweet, and you would probably never guess that she is a hitwitch.

Soooooo, friends/enemies/people she has driven mental with her cheery attitude or organisational skills? :D

Hiiiiii!!! So I am now finals-free, internship set, and birthday celebrated aka I'm back. I'm so sorry I left during such a crazy time, but I appreciate y'all's understanding so much! You guys are the best. ♥
