Who: Hannah Abbott and Seamus Finnigan. When: Early evening. Where: Hannah's Flat. Summary: Time to face the music, so to speak. Rating: G, nothing bad.
Hannah had ended up calling into work. She had needed the money especially now that Megan was no longer her flatmate, but at the same time, she just couldn't really find herself having the motivation to go in and work after the night and day she had been having. Of course, things seemed to be going a bit more smoothly as the day went on. Hannah had taken a lot of time while left to her own devices to reflect and put things into perspective. The one thing in her heart that she absolutely knew that she had to do was to close the door on things between Seamus and her.
Hannah thought Seamus was a great bloke. He was sweet, he had a good heart and he was very skilled when it came to pleasing a female, but when it really came down to it, he didn't have Hannah's heart. She had been willing to try, but it just hadn't worked. Hannah knew that she should have realized such when she was having dinner with him the other night but still thinking about Ernie. However, Hannah had tried to push Ernie from her mind and act as if any feelings she had for him ceased to exist, but they were there, they had been there and they weren't going to just cease to exist.
Megan had invited Hannah to dinner at the flat the three of them shared and Hannah, although knowing better was set on going if for no other reason than to not have dinner alone, while also spending time with her best mates, and well, did she actually need an excuse to want to look at Ernie? In fact, Hannah wanted to knock Ernie's socks off. She was looking more like a hot mess at the moment though, her hair up in large barrel curlers, a cute sundress hanging on a hanger right in the living room while she was in a long pink terry bathrobe with slippers, cosmetics half charmed on her face as she continued to work on getting presentable as she waited on Seamus to show up.
Part of Hannah was feeling guilt though. Had she basically led Seamus on without realizing it? They had spoken of how their past histories had been trainwrecks and now could she be considered another trainwreck added to his list?
