When the land of Sinistra was young, there was but one land, and one ruler to see over it in its entirety. He was known as King Augusten, and his queen was called Violet. Together they ruled for nearly thirty years and the people were happy, nothing was denied of them, and as long as they continued to work together nothing could go wrong. But, King Augusten was only one man, he could not have eyes and ears in every part of his kingdom for it stretched on for thousands of miles in every direction, and there were traitors amongst his people....
