The Event: Earthquake!
As you may have seen, we have our first event taking place here! A starter has been posted, this is the basic overview of what is happening to the city, the thread is open to everyone in the game. Don't forget to add your character's name to the thread so it counts to your activity. ;) Feel free to start a new sub-thread on it, or hop in with someone else. Sub-threads of two to three characters interacting seem to work best, letting things move more quickly than having to wait and wait for everyone to tag. Feel free to start a sub thread with a title of "Open to:" if you want to interact with someone specifically.

Here's your chance to see some action and let your character do what they do best. Dive in and fight the quake, pull people out of buildings, or be hurt and need to be rescued, entirely up to you. Wander out with a green face mask in a bath robe? That works too! Use this opportunity to steal from wrecked houses? Go for it! Earthbenders can also focus the next few days on fixing up the city, as it is going to need some repair! This is not extreme enough for the city to entirely fall apart, injuries are sure to happen but this would only have resulted in a few deaths, so it's not an entire city-shattering crisis. Just enough to leave people a bit shaken and give characters a good bit to do. ;)
