Owen had left about ten minutes ago and Ianto was cleaning up his and the doctor's coffee mugs. That had been entirely unexpected. Not Owen's visit. No, he'd been expecting that. It was the sex that had been unexpected. It wasn't that he felt bad about it, because he didn't. He and Jack had a very open relationship...if it could be called that...and Jack was apparently off having sex at the moment anyway. It wasn't even that it was Owen. He figured they'd both needed something familiar, and it certainly wasn't the first time they'd shagged. It had happened more than once in the time they'd worked together, more frequently during the months Jack was gone. It was more that it had come out of nowhere. One minute they were discussing the insanity of this place, and whether or not to check out the forest, drinking coffee and generally being sarcastic with one another. The next, or at least it felt that way looking back, he was pinned against the wall, trying to get Owen undressed as quickly as possible.

And now he was cleaning up the kitchen as if nothing had happened. Of course, his normal shell of indifference wasn't entirely in place. He hadn't put his jacket or tie back on, though he had put them away, and his shirt was untucked, the sleeves rolled up and the top two buttons undone. He didn't see a point in trying to hide it from Jack. Neither of them bothered with sneaking around. Putting one of the mugs away, he made himself another cup of coffee, with a touch of milk and no sugar. He frowned when he noticed a darkening mark on his collarbone in the reflective metal of the coffee machine, not because he thought it would especially bother Jack as much as because he'd never particularly liked when people left marks. But...no matter. He'd get Owen back later. He'd just finished making his own coffee when he heard the door open, so he made another cup for Jack, this one black with one spoon of sugar.

"In the kitchen, sir," he said.

Humming to himself, hands behind his head, Jack kicked the door shut and made his way into the kitchen. Leaning against the door frame, he moved to shove his hands in his pockets, looking Ianto over with a faint smirk. "Have fun while I was aware, Ianto?" Jack inquired, noticing the mark and the over all relaxed demeanor Ianto was sporting. He knew what the other man looked like after sex, and his clear blue eyes glittered with amusement.

Ianto smirked and handed Jack his coffee, taking a long sip of his own and letting out a low, pleased moan. Coffee was always good. Better than sex. Well...sex with Owen. "Yes, I did," he said, turning around and leaning against the counter as he looked Jack over. "Owen came by for coffee." He might have been a bit more reserved at the hub, but they weren't at work and he could relax in the flat. "What about you, sir? Have any fun?"

	Gratefully accepting the coffee, he took a sip, humming contently. Ianto always made the best coffee...he couldn't deny that. "Did he now? And how is Owen?" Smirking a little, he took another sip of the hot brew, shrugging. "I started to. I'm afraid it got ruined, though. Just when it was getting interesting." He sighed. 	"He seemed in a better mood when he left than when he arrived," he said offhandedly, taking another sip of coffee. He smirked, looking at Jack again. He definitely didn't look as relaxed as he normally did after good sex. So...it was possible for Captain Jack Harkness to strike out. "Really? What a shame, sir. That must have been frustrating." 	"Not a surprise, really." He pointed out, still leaning in the door frame as he took another sip of coffee. The smirk he saw on Ianto's lips made him smirk a little bit as well. "Very frustrating. 	"I should hope not," Ianto said with a snort of laugh. He set his finished his coffee and moved over to the sink, turning on the water and washing the mug out. "How terrible," he said, hiding a smile, "and the significant other didn't turn it into a threesome? Sounds like you might be losing your touch, sir." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Oh, well, I did almost offer up a threesome but he is the mayor and he really didn't look pleased. Plus, it wouldn't have been any fun. Neil was all embarrassed and ashamed and I figured the two needed to work out a few things." Chuckling, he finished up his own coffee and moved to stand behind Ianto, just barely touching him, before reaching around to rinse out his own mug.

With a little smile he nuzzled his nose against Ianto's soft hair.

"It probably isn't a good idea to get on the mayor's bad side so early on," Ianto said with a slight shake of his head. "I doubt offering would have gone over well in that situation. Probably better to just leave them to their own devices." He took the mug from Jack's hands, washing it out himself. He never trusted the others to do a good job of cleaning.

He dried the mug and set it off to the side with his own, leaning back against Jack. "I'm very sorry it didn't work out for you," he said. "Maybe next time."

	"Maybe." He replied softly, making sure his hands were dry before they moved to rest warmly against Ianto's stomach. Humming thoughtfully, he nosed down along the side of his lover's neck, pausing when he found the mark. "Owen get a little ahead of himself, did he?" Jack purred, soothing his tongue over the bruise. Ianto smiled softly to himself, relaxing contentedly against Jack. He liked when the other man was affectionate. It was nice, and definitely appreciated. He laughed at the query and nodded. "He's a spiteful bastard," he said with a shrug, making a soft appreciative noise at the feel of Jack's tongue against the bruise. "Doesn't seem to get that I had every intention of telling you about it and left that for you to find. Never accused him of being very bright."

"Cute." Chuckling a little, he bit down on the mark and sucked lightly, one of his thumbs slipping under Ianto's shirt to stroke against the other man's stomach affectionately. Jack had his moments of affection, especially when around the man currently in his arms. Once he felt he'd gone over the mark well enough, he pulled his mouth back a little, admiring it before kissing it. "All better."

"I believe annoying is the term you were looking for." Ianto definitely liked the moments of affection. He'd always been a tactile person with Lisa, and the same was true when it came to Jack. He groaned softly as he felt Jack's mouth on the mark, his head dropping back against his lover's shoulder to give him more access. "Much better," he agreed, wondering vaguely if it was possible to get through a day without being turned on by Jack. He was seriously starting to doubt it."

	Jack liked the groan his mouth had drawn from the younger man and smirked a little to himself. "Good." The hand not toying around under Ianto's shirt moved to cup the bulge in his lover's pants.
