Greetings!
Hi everyone! My name's Mon and i'm bringing Eirys Baeddhelm into the Order. Eirys will be a brand new member of the Order so I'm hoping she'll have lots of interaction with characters who can show her the ropes!
Eirys is half earth elemental and was trained from a young age to wield a sword and shield. She's a foundling who was raised with a couple of farmers until she was twelve and then adopted by a family of super cool and generous nobles. At nineteen she became a member of the city guard and spent the next seven years doing soldiering/policing things. She was a Captain, but has resigned her commission to devote herself full time to the Order.
Personality-wise, she's incredibly stubborn, a little untrusting, unflappably loyal, very take-charge, and kind of a shit-disturber when it comes to the societal status quo (though the legal one, less so.)
Her bio's up if people want the super long version, and if this is tl:dr for people, the even shorter version is: Eirys is a mix of Lagertha from Vikings, Toph from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Ryan Atwood from The OC and Anne of Green Gables ;)
As for me, I'm an archivist working at an engineering company so my availability is centred around CST office hours but I also tend to be persuaded pretty easily by interesting storylines to write in the evenings. I'm generally not around much on weekends as my husband and I work different hours and weekends are generally the only time we spend together but, again, the juicier the writing is, the more I'll end up getting sucked in haha. And this game is the most interesting thing I've seen online in a long time so I'm more than ready to be sucked in!
