He'd been trying to be understanding, she wasn't melded with Hebe and so things could be difficult to understand, except...Heracles wasn't known for his patience, and right now, he was at the end of his rope. He'd had two wives before her, loved them both, killed one out of insanity caused by his step mother, and the other had him accidentally killed by her jealousy. Hebe had been the answer to all his wifely problems. She could not die and she would not kill him, her jealousy not nearly so disastrous as Deianira's has been. And while his sons with Hebe would never replace those he'd lost with Megera, it made the pain easier to bear. And now this mortal woman whom housed his immortal wife was keeping him from that, had stood him up when he was trying to make amends (not that he had any idea what the amends was for, she was just angry). He had never been good at romance, still wasn't, but he was good at outlandish shows and in-your-face sorts of confrontations. And yeah, he probably should have run his plans by Scott first so his best friend could inform him he was being a jackass, but he didn't (probably for that exact reason). Which meant now, with Molly's work number in hand he was up the halls and announcing himself rather boisterously, demanding to see 'Molly'. |
