For the tenth time that morning Rufus glared at his watch. Although he knew he was way too early, he couldn't help but to jump slightly from his seat every time the door of the coffee shop opened. Since the evening of the fund raising event, Lily had been on his mind constantly... More time then he felt was appropriate for a married man. He tried to convince himself that what he felt was normal, they had a past together, a lot had happened, it was only normal that she had been on his mind. Right? He took a deep breath when the door opened again.

Glad to see our first thread is off on a role! Again, let me know if you have any questions or ideas, I'm always hoping to tap others' creativity. Here are a few announcements, hopefully to help things run smoothly.
1. We have an official OOC comm! Hopefully, this will be easier than using tags. It's Off the Steps and has open membership so you can join right away. Please excuse the truly hideous formatting, I'll beautify it soon.
2. Friends! Now that we will be using the journals for in-character entries and text messages, it's important that you have everyone friended. Just enter your journal name in the space below:

I'll be taking on Nate and Dan if we don't manage to snag them soon. Let me know if there are any other characters you'd particularly like to see. I'm very willing to try my hand at the parents, "villains" and rivals, teachers, etc. I have a few plot bunnies I'd like to discuss with you all, so I'll probably post a list of them over in the new OOC community in the coming days. Hello! I seem to be a second late - blame the weekend.
Anyways I'm Maxi and I'm bringing in Serena. She's just gotten back from boarding school and hasn't really spoken or talked to anyone yet. I'm really excited to play here!
I'm so excited things have started and all the gossip and such to follow!
I'm up for really any sort of plot as Serena just got back!

So happy to see this game launched! I'm Marie, currently pulling the puppet strings of Blair and Bart Bass, although I'm sure I'll grab a third at some point. I can't resist the Gossip Girl characters, they are all so interesting.
I am very much up for discussing character relationships and plot, especially since we have free rein to decide how to develop this little AU world of ours. I'm not on AIM as much as I'd like, but feel free to comment or PM. When I am on, I can be spotted at uncoeurvaillant. If I see you, I will probably pounce so be warned!

Hello all! I'm your friendly neighborhood mod Kat. We are quickly filling the ranks of our cast, so the start date has been moved up to tomorrow. I'll have a multi character thread set to go then, but you should feel free to jump in and start your own threads as well. We'll be beginning with the first week of classes, Serena has been back for 2 days. The setting for the first thread will be a fundraising event for the both school's new performing arts center the weekend before school begins. So all students and parents are invited!
I'm interested in what people think about using journal entries for this game. I like the idea of the student characters at least having some sort of posting system. What do others think? We can also do text messages via the personal journals and I'll be posting as Gossip Girl (since what would the game be without her stirring up mischief?).
If you have any questions or plot ideas please comment or PM me. Also, you can do an intro post if the mood strikes you. I'll be taking on any characters that are still needed, either temporarily or permanently depending on people's interest.

Am I first?
Anyway, this journal is for the character Chuck Bass and the player behind him would be me, Ivy. I'm not new to the world of roleplay, and I've been a fan of the show Gossip Girl since the first season.
I'm super excited about this game because it kicks off with episode one of season one, which leaves room for new and different development. As far as plots and pairings are concerned, I'm open to anything and everything, however, for purposes of this game Chuck will remain a straight boy.
