There was a slight chill in the village with tall buildings. Tatia was in awe as she wondered around the strip, looking at all the wonders. There was a few people out and about, no one paid any mind to her. She wondered where all the trees where, where was the forest that they had moved to in the new land?

She kept walking though, looking for any signs of her home. She was so confused, Ester had just left her with a pooch of her blood, Tatia given it willingly to say Elijah and of course Klaus from whatever was going on with them. Sighing she pushed some of her crimp hair back, than spun when she heard a voice, one she knew well, "Rebekah?" she called out...wondering if she was there as well.

Wandering in and out of different places, in full shopping mode, the last thing Rebekah had expected to hear was that familiar voice. Oh, of course Elena was there but even if the voice was the same the sentiment behind it wasn't. In fact she hadn't heard that cadence in centuries.

Whirling at her name, eyes scanned the crowd, sighting the girl she had known so well once upon a time. The one who had initially been between two of her brothers, half a millennium before Katherine had weaseled her way into their lives. It was impossible. It had to be a ruse.

"Katherine, I swear to God I'm not even sure how you knew what she looked like but that is one disguise you shouldn't have attempted." Eyes flashed as she moved closer. She would rip her heart straight from her chest given half the chance.

Who was this Katherine? What was Rebekah taking about? Worry flashed on Tatia face, was she replaced so quickly...could their mother have something to do with this? Tatia thought the family has approved of her, perhaps not.

Stumbling for words, the new world language was still foreign to her. She muttered a few words in Old Norse, than held up her head to look at the blonde. "Your mother was just with me, now I'm here, who Is Katherine?"

For everything that Katherine had learned about their family, Rebekah somehow doubted very much that she would have learned Old Norse. Why would she have bothered? The Originals had very much kept their origins shrouded in mystery so she wouldn't have had a reason to go poking about in that region of the world.

It was that, more than anything else that persuaded Rebekah that her first instincts had been incorrect. Pausing, she studied the girl, eyes still a bit wary. "...Tatia?"

Her head tilted to the side, trying to understand Rebekah, how could she think she was someone else and not in normal drape. "It's I," she stated as she eyed her wearily, "who is this," she flippantly waved her hand "Katherine?" She shook her head, none of this made sense, "why are you draped like that?"

This place was confusing and seeing a friendly face, adapted to it, was even more confusing, she shook her head, "Where are we?"

"Katherine is..." Her voice trailed off. It wasn't that Rebekah would shy away from calling a spade a spade but Tatia... To hell with it. "Katherine is a bitch," she completed flatly. One who only thought of herself.

"And she could be your twin." Rebekah sighed softly at the questions. "It's been nearly a thousand years since I've seen you, Tatia. It's the 21st century. Garb has changed and we are in a place called Las Vegas."

	This doesn't make any sense to her, she didn't understand anything her friend just said to her, "a thousand years?" she questioned back, "Las Vegas?" “Vampires. The Original vampires,” Rebekah answered, though of course that would make no sense to Tatia, given that no such thing had existed during her lifetime, and therefore not even the mythology associated with vampires.

“My parents were devastated when Henril died. In an effort to ensure that they would never lose another one of their children, my mother created in us a set of immortal beings. She bound the spell with your blood. It was your blood that changed us from human to...inhuman. And now we subsist on blood.” There was more but Rebekah was unsure how much the girl could take.

“That was a thousand years ago, Tatia. And some strange magic has brought us all to this place. People brought from different times and yet I never thought that it was powerful enough to bring you from so long ago.” She should have known better, really.

Silence met Rebekah words, Tatia was sure this was some kind of hoax. "Have you gone mad?" she whispered to the blonde with a look of confusion, horror, and just uncomfortable with everything she was just told.

Pushing back from the table, "I believe I should go," Tatia was unsure where she would go, perhaps back to the room she had the key for in her pocket, then she will sort out all of this, making sense of the truth and the lies, there had to be lies in there.

Rebekah was beside her in the blink of an eye, hand resting gently on Tatia's arm. "I'm not mad, Tatia. I swear that to you. And I don't think you being on your own is a good idea. So much has changed since your time on this earth. And if anything were to happen to you, I am quite sure my brothers would never forgive me."

Perhaps that was the way to get Tatia to stay with her. "They're here. Two of them, at least. Niklaus and Elijah."

She would answer all of Tatia's questions...eventually. Or if not Rebekah then perhaps Tatia would be more willing to listen to one of her brothers.

"They are," Rebekah confirmed. "Kol was here as well. And our other sister Freya. They are gone now. But at least the three of us remain, and my niece." She offered a smile, trying to placate the other woman. "Please, Tatia....I would not do anything to hurt you."
