Although Jenna had gotten up early to finish her packing for the trip into New York tonight, she'd still managed to be running a bit late. At least she was running a bit late if she wanted to eat breakfast before she started her day. Pulling on a pair of black and pink yoga pants and her 'Things That Go Bump In The Night' t-shirt, she was very casually dressed. So casually dressed, she had on a pair of flats, which she very rarely did.

Grabbing her book bag, she threw on her coat and slung the bag over her shoulder. Running down the stairs, she made it the bottom floor in a few seconds. Taking the turn to walk past Michael's room, she knocked. After waiting a few moments, she decided he was probably already at breakfast or perhaps running even later than herself and was in the shower. Heading down the hallway, she looked down at her coat as she buttoned it up and ended up walking into someone. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry."

Cat was feeling refreshed after her normal early morning walk/sketch. She was trying to finish one drawing in particular that was started about a week ago, but she never had the chance to. But finally after getting up an hour early, she spent two hours outside, finishing every little detail the way she liked it. Now all she had to do was add color.

She wasn't paying much attention either as she walked up the hallway, in between flipping through her sketchbook and trying to push her pencil into her pocket. She yelped softly when she ran into someone, stumbling back a bit and barely managing not to drop her book. "No, I'm sorry," she quickly replied, shaking her head. "I wasn't paying much attention."

Biting her lip, Jenna looked worried. "Me either. I was trying to button up my stupid jacket." Giving up on the buttons, she looked the girl over to make sure she hadn't hurt her.

"I didn't hurt you or anything? It's Catrina... right?" Putting her book bag down between her legs, she settled her coat on her better and buttoned it up as she looked at the girl in front of her.

	"Oh, no, I'm fine," Cat quickly replied, so that the girl wouldn't worry over her too much. She would've hated that. She glanced up at her and jogged her memory for a name, smiling when she apparently remembered hers. "Right. Uhm, forgive me if I'm wrong, but, you're Jenna?" she asked hopefully, shifting the book in her arms. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Relieved that Catrina wasn't hurt, she sighed. Smiling softly, Jenna let her hands fall to her sides. "You heading to breakfast or were you just coming in?"

The girl didn't seem like the sort to stay out all night, but then again Jenna didn't know all that much about her. Lifting her bag again, she brought it to her shoulder. "We could walk together if you were headed that way."

	"Just coming in," Cat replied, nodding towards the direction she was coming from. "I wake up really early in the mornings most of the time." She was actually planning on going back to her room, but there wasn't anything really stopping her from going straight to breakfast instead. "Oh, sure. Do you usually wake up this early, too?" 	"Oh..." Jenna wasn't sure what to say. She didn't want to make the girl go with her if she wasn't actually ready to go to breakfast. Biting her lip, she smiled with relief as the Cat decided to go to breakfast. "Normally I'm already at breakfast, but I was packing for the big trip to New York so I kind of lost track of time." Frowning, she started walking with Cat towards the main building. "I hope so. I haven't been in awhile. That sucks that your mom wouldn't let you go. There is just so many cultural things to do there."

She was very glad that her parents had allowed her to go. Not only was it a chance to see her brother, but it was a chance to get away from school and have a little fun she would never have had back home. "Hopefully she'll let you go next time."

"Maybe," Cat replied with a slight shrug, honestly not caring much about it. She probably would be allowed to go if she was asked at the right time, seeing as her mother didn't care about what she did most of the time, but at the same time she couldn't really see herself going regardless of that.

"But it's okay. I think I'll be living vicariously through you guys. That's the plan anyway," she said, grinning again. "Get one of those I love NY t-shirts for yourself."

Walking into the school building, Jenna held the door open for Cat. "We'll make sure to take lots of pictures then." Smiling, she laughed at the idea of one of those t-shirts... they weren't really her style. Shrugging as they got to the cafeteria's doors, she spotted Addi.

"It was good chatting with you Cat. We should definitely do it again sometime..." Biting her lip, she smiled softly and headed inside. Was that rude of her? Maybe, but she was already running late.
