There was no way in all of hell that Jacqueline Alyssa Pritchard was going to take a nap or a bath. Nor would the little girl divulge the location of the pillow she was so fond of sleeping on. She figured that no pillow meant no nap and that was fine by her. She darted under the kitchen table as her mother stormed into the room. "Now now, Jackie dear," she called out loudly, before looking under the table. Giggles erupted as the little girl tried to escape her mother but Mel reached out and easily plucked the girl from her spree and shook her gently. "Where are you going?" She teased her as she shook, "Where on earth do you think you're going?" She grinned and carried her into the living room. "Since Mummy doesn't know where you've gone and put your pillow, I can't help you sleep. Maybe a bath?"
Jacqueline began to flail again and at the same time, there was a high pitched shriek emitted. It startled both the girls to silence and Mel set Jack down as she went back into her room. She looked around for a bit before she noticed that her owl cage was rattling. She pulled the cover from over it apologetically and saw a very small, pastel yellow pillow disturbing her poor Belle's wingspan. She sighed as she pulled the pillow out of the cage and pet Belle to soothe her. She marched back into the living room and held the yellow pillow, black feathers brushed against the surface. Jack took a single look at it and rolled around on the couch, laughing crazily at her mother.
