Jake Epstein.
So JAKE EPSTEIN. When I saw Spring Awakening on tour, my friend and I stagedoored like the nerds and fangirl and fanboy we are. And Jake Epstein had been playing Melchior. He was wonderful, and passed all my Melchior tests, which I can't say for every guy who's played him. He's quite nice and of course gorgeous in person. My knees were shaking the whole time. XD

I am so in love with this kid and have been for ages. It's so weird that he's doing Spring Awakening now! Not that I'm at all complaining, mind you. I'd love to see him in the role.

He was great, I was very lucky to get to see him.

(Also, omg, you are involved with the Broadway RPG. I've been eyeing that for awhile, I can't lie. XD)

Amusingly enough, I use him for a Henry-from-N2N type character. If I can ever find a home for him again, I'll have to snag these.

Oh my God! You should totally join, for serious. It's one of THE most fun games I've ever been in. Fantastic mod, insanely friendly players with well-thought out characters who will throw plot ideas at you from every direction, and active enough that something's always going on, but you won't get lost with 340932048032948320 posts in a few days. It's really fab. Plus... Broadway. Lots and lots of geekery constantly going on. I can't gush about it enough. I was a member when it first opened, left until... this past January? And wouldn't dream of leaving again.

If you need any help with anything (if you do decide to join) a lot of us would be willing to give it! We love new people. :D

:D! Someone commented on my Jonathan Groff icons saying they were using them for so and so, like people do, and I swear I nearly died. And I just moved to New York for grad school. I'm about an hour from the city, but I can't wait to get out there. *nerd, obviously*

It's such an awesome game. It really is... and I love Groffle, like a lot. He's one of my favorites EVEEEER and I won't ever get over my crush on him. Also, I am so jealous of you moving closer to the city because that's exactly what I want to do - move an hour or so away. Far enough to live a little more cheaply, but close enough to go at the last minute. As it is right now, I go every couple of months to see things, but I'd rather use that money to move closer. :X

And there is nothing wrong with being a theatre nerd! There's a whole RPG just for us. ;D

Me neither. The Bacchae was in its closing weekend when I just got here, but my brain was so fried from orientations and things that I slept it off instead of getting my butt into the city to do some stalking play seeing. >_>
