The moment Jamie set eyes on Kayley, he knew that she was the girl for him. Being a twelve year old boy, he had no idea how to tell her, so he remained distant. It was that year that he accidentally charmed Kayley's hair purple in class, and she was so upset that she didn't speak to him for years. Finally, in their fifth year, Kayley marched up to him and snogged him- they began to date, breaking up the summer before their 7th year because Jamie said 'I love you' and Kayley needed time to think. They got back together, and moved in together after finishing Hogwarts. They were married a year later.

It was kind of an accident that Atticus and Lizzie met. If the regular bagpipes player hadn't been ill, then Atticus wouldn't have been at the dance competition. But he was, and Atticus was asked to fill in for him. He was so distracted by Lizzie's dancing that he completely missed a line in the music. She was angry, of course, and Atticus felt horrible. He later apologized, and she agreed to spend some time with him. They hit it off, and were handfasted before the weekend was out.

This was a whirlwind romance; Sean wasn't even supposed to be in St Gallen that late June weekend. Joining some friends at Pickwick's Pub, Sean quickly found his attention drawn to a girl with pretty red hair (and she, in turn, to him). They barely spoke two words, but the both of them found themselves thinking of the other almost non-stop. The next morning, Sean went back to the pub in search of the girl, and they spent the day together before he had to leave on a train to Paris. Less than a month later, Lena showed up at the family shop in London- a surprise for them both, but they were handfasted just days later, engaged by New Year's, and married by Valentine's day.

Addy and Ross didn't actually meet until the wedding day of their twins, Braden and Leslie. Addy had actually mistaken Ross for Leslie, and they didn't have much opportunity to talk that day. They met again at a charity ball a few weeks later and hit it off- Ross went home with Addy that night and they began to date, which was a bit of a surprise to everybody, even Addy-- but certainly not an unpleasant surprise at all!

Kept apart by house prejudices, Regan and Quinn admired each other from a distance for years. It wasn't until they found themselves stuck in a hospital room together- Quinn had sent a bludger at Regan during a game, and Oliver had gotten Puddlemere's beaters to retaliate- that they really began to talk. They realized that they'd both been letting their friends keep them from exploring something they both really wanted to. They began to date, and were engaged a month later.

Never quite like other pureblooded witches her age, Kathryn began her internship at the Ministry of Magic the fall after finishing her time at Hogwarts. She took to her job and quickly garnered attention from many higher-ups in the office, including one Miles Bletchley. Falling asleep one evening, Miles didn't want to leave Kathryn in the office overnight and took her back to his flat- she awoke and tried to leave, but was convinced to stay so long as Miles slept in his own bed beside her. It was the beginning of a hot and heavy romance that certainly hasn't fizzled out over time.

Wayne was on the train to Hogwarts his first year when he noticed a pretty girl who looked very nervous. He introduced himself, and discovered that his new friend, Hannah, was a Muggleborn. He held her hand on the boatride across the Hogwarts lake, and he was a bit surprised when she kissed his cheek before going up to the Sorting Hat. Wayne was excited to find that they were both placed in Hufflepuff, and they were best friends through Hogwarts. He was heartbroken when she didn't return to school in their 7th year, and completely ecstatic when he found her again once the war was over. They began to hang out, then date, and they knew early on that they were it for each other, and they couldn't be happier.

When her parents told her that they had arranged her marriage, Sophia didn't know what to think. And when she met Malachi, she was at a bit of a loss- she felt instantly comfortable with him, and- well, she liked him. They agreed to go on a few dates, and soon found that they genuinely enjoyed each other's company. Maybe their parents had a good idea, though Sophia didn't quite want to admit it. It didn't take her and Malachi very long, however, to find themselves properly engaged (to each other), and they eloped (for themselves) before having the big "proper" wedding (for their families).

High school sweethearts, neither Robbie nor Suzie really wanted the war to come into their lives. But it did, and at the tender age of 18, Robbie was sent overseas in defense of his country. He kept in touch as best he could, hating to leave Suzie behind, but letters were few and far between. He was injured in the line of battle, losing his memory, and it was some sort of fate that sent him right to the very hospital that Suzie was working. Little did he know that he also had a son- Suzie had never told him, not wanting to worry him any- and over time, Robbie regained his memory- though he couldn't have done it without the help of Suzie and Danny, and once he had his memory and was settled in a new job, Robbie finally asked Suzie to marry him so that they could finally start the life together they'd dreamed of since they were teenagers.

It was love at first sight for Thomas and Abby. They were both at the markets in Greenville when Thomas pulled Abby out of the way of a fast moving cart. They spent the afternoon together, and it wasn't until later that Thomas learned that Abby was one of the girls who lived at the brothel. This didn't deter him, and he went to find her- after a confession of love from both parties, they decided to attempt a relationship. A few months later, Abby found herself pregnant- it was Thomas', of course. The pregnancy was difficult, given how young Abby was, and labor was quite difficult. Thomas was given the baby and told that Abby had died, and Abby was told her child was stillborn and Thomas wanted nothing to do with her. It was ten years before they learned how wrong they both were, and they quickly acted to make up for lost time.

A romance almost right out of the storybooks, Genevieve and Julius were never really supposed to be together. They first met when they were young- Julius and his father came to work for the Brisbois family, and Gen was instantly intrigued. Always a bit strong-willed, Genevieve marched right up to Julius one day and demanded that he teach her everything he knew about horses, offering to teach him how to read and write in return. She wouldn't take no for an answer, and it was the beginnings of a lifelong friendship that later developed into something more. It wasn't until an outing at the town pub where Gen got into a barfight out of sheer jealousy that their feelings for each other were revealed. Both knew it wouldn't be easy, but they knew that they wanted to be with each other- they eventually eloped so that they could live a happy life together.

To be completely honest, Cameron still doesn't know how he managed to get Jenny to fall in love with him. He was an awkward, introverted person, who had been dragged to the Highland Games the year he met Jenny. They ran into each other, literally- she was late for a dance contest and asked him to lace up her dress before she kissed him and ran off. He found her again by accident, at her da's shop, and he kept coming back again and again, just to see her. She asked him on a date, and one date turned into another and another- they both knew pretty early on that they loved each other, but it took some time for Cameron to muster up the courage to ask her to marry him.
