I'm saying that Andyface went to ground somewhere for the duration of Halloween (convenient excuse) because he HATES IT. Many a reason, but yes, he'll be slinking back to Taj's place. He still needs to have a chat with the bros about his new thing with Taj, and with Adrian too, and he still hasn't faced what happened with his daddy yet - yet another convo with Tajeen to have. He's still unemployed but if he does go back to any job it'll be with you Dana-bee :)

So, my head has been churning and stewing. I'm rather inspired and this boy won't shut his trap until I see if anyone might be interested.

He's very much a 'work in progress' as I write this but his name is Draven L. Lich, and his family line (ironically titled, I might add) is revered for their somewhat frightening skill with necromancy and all things that 'go against nature', with destruction being considered a perverse form of creation.

Hey there, peeps! I figured I'd cast out a couple lines and see what pings interest.
I've got two characters in development currently. One, djinnofthelamp, is called Malak. He's a djinn who will be serving the half demon Shin.
He's neutral to start but can be swayed by his Master.

Second is soundofsilas, Silas Crown. He's a young baker at his families corner cafe and is trained in violin with a passion for modern dance. He also has a twin sister, Cora, who acts as his translator- as Silas is mute and speaks through ASL.

He's a young ranch hand/cowboy on his family ranch just outside of Boston. He ventures into the city to explore what the 'city life' is really like while trying to understand his own struggling sexuality. He's a fun loving, whiskey drinking kinda guy who really just wants to have a good time without the harsh, overly strict judgement of his family.
He is honestly a bit of a sight when he rolls into town, clearly from a different walk of life and valuing the taste of a good home style plate of bacon and eggs over drugs any day.

We have a couple of notes for you this week. They're in regards to some questions we've been noticing floating around the community. One quick one is that if you are applying for a fantasy race, such as a dragon or phoenix or unicorn, you don't have to call them a shifter. The ability to take on a human form is something that all races who can play in the game can have unless for some reason you don't want it. This won't affect your character concept unless we ask you to change something. A shifter is specifically a being with a human form and the ability to change into one of any mundane earth animal.

Secondly, there have also been some questions about the process in which angels fall. Some comments have been made as to things that can cause an angel to fall instantly. We'd like to reiterate that the only thing to make an angel fall instantly are serious things like murder, sex with a demon, any of the major sins, etc. God does take intention into consideration, since he knows the minds of his creations. Otherwise, angels do have free will just like any other creation and can choose to go against their divine calling or do things outside of their natures. Taking one or two liberties won't likely see anything serious happen. Taking many of them will see that the angel's power is weakened and/or he is punished by God. It is only with a long-term process of sin that makes angels fall completely, and the reverse is true for demons. Demons must build up "good karma", so to speak, in order to ascend.

If an angel does choose to live long-term outside of his nature and not perform his duties, but not sin either, this is a sort of "limbo" state and is the primary way that half-angels are made. The angel hasn't fallen completely from grace but will need to go through a process of repentance in order to return to his heavenly duties.

Half-angels and half-demons are also a bit different in that a divine half struggles for balance with a human half. They are even more prone to human vices than purebred peers, and their human sides are reigned in by human rules and standards. They still follow the same pattern of fall and ascent, but in a more human way. Some can even be born mortal, if their divine parent isn't strong enough. This is what they trade for having a more liberal life: they are only a fraction as powerful as a purebred.

I like to fill lines, I was thinking it would be interesting to play a character who had sold their soul to a demon, if anyone would be interested! edit: I was thinking that instead of a straightforward soul selling contract it could be more of an indirect she owes a favor but it might lead to that eventually. I was thinking she was a good person who just got kind of stuck.
