[it is business as usual for Dino in Japan, though he's not in the usual parts of Japan he visits. Business has brought him to areas that are a little more metropolitan than he's used to, but he doesn't mind it so much, not when he's walking with a few of his men down the street after a successful meeting.

The people running around on fancy rollerblades is a new thing though.]

[every set of eyes in the group flickers to that brief sight of fire and all but one stays tense, eyeing the teenager talking to their boss. ... Boss this has been happening a lot lately :|]

[or just to forget everything that happened in that city. It wasn't a thought Kazu entertained very long, after all, this was Dino and they'd... well. They'd been. he started looking harder at Dino. he was different--older, maybe? but no, if anything, he looked younger...]

[this all only took a few seconds to cycle through Kazu's brain, but in the meantime he looked like Dino had smacked his across the face

[there's a momentary silence from all parties involved, but soon enough there are a few exchanged looks and someone's leaning over to whisper something into Dino's ear, which is apparently enough to make him ready and whisper back hurriedly]

--dn't do anything to make him cry!

[quickly clears his throat, taking a few steps away from the jeering guys and sheepishly towards Kazu]

Hey, ah... I'm sorry if I've hurt you in some way but I'm really pretty confused right now. Have we met before?

[that little bit of info is enough for a quick exchange of knowing glances by everyone. The men settle back, slowly fading into the background to leave their boss alone to take care of things. He's appreciative of the gesture, but that doesn't make it any easier trying to explain to this teenager he's never met before things that were supposed to be mafia-confidential. That doesn't mean he has to be mean though, and the smile he gives is a soft one]

Probably not for another ten years. Sorry.
