Anyone got a good cure to send nightmares packing? I've not slept in about 4 maybe 5 days since the ghosts are in my dreams now.

Plus I'm curious: anyone know if the clinic or Sam's is looking for part timers? Just trying to get a steady cash flow going while options are sorted out. Plus its me trying to get what little control of things I can.

I'm a southern girl, that can't be denied, but I do listen to more than just Country music, Pandora. With that said, I really like waking up with nothing to do but roll over, tap a few buttons and let this station try to wake me up while that automatic kettle in the kitchen flips on to warm some water for tea. Maybe I'll just close my eyes for a few more minutes.

...Can I get something besides love songs!? I know Country ain't all about love and heartbreak. Oh, Lord. I broke Pandora, it's done gone all suicidal (If I Die Young - The Band Perry). Anyone have something better to listen to?

I'm obviously behind on the gossip, but are they really holding an all ages prom here in the tower? I can't decide if that's really great or a little scary.

I always try to not to post in here too often but I'm afraid I left a book on Celtic mythology at Sam's last night. When I went back it was no longer there and the staff had not seen it.

Met a bloke here who wants to start a restaurant, but doesn't want to work in it. Seems queer to me, but since he wants to work with me, I'll roll with it. It's a British restaurant (sadly not a pub), and it's called Harry's Place. The fact that the kitchen and front of house are being part-run by 'Harry Potter Characters' is entirely a coincidence, I'm sure. I like the other main chef, decent enough Muggle guy. We're going to sit down next week, the three of us, and hammer out an actual menu. With all luck, we'll be up and running mid-May.

Apparently there's a new book in the series about my life coming out May 6th.

That is so weird. I don't know if I want to read it or not. On the one hand, it would be kinda neat to know what's going to happen to me if I ever get to go home, but on the other... it might be kinda creepy readin about my life in someone else's words, right?

I'll probably end up pickin it up. I don't think my curiosity will let me do anything else.

We have a lot of new people around here, so I think I'm overdue for another introduction. I'm Sam Merlotte, and I run the bar, Sam's. I'm offering one free drink to all newcomers. For those of you not from around here, the legal drinking age is 21, so if you're younger than that, no can do. You'll have to look elsewhere. We have pool tables, dart boards, a couple rooms you can reserve for parties, televisions for sporting events or whatever else you'd like on. Wednesday is trivia night, and there's a sign up list for teams at the bar. Fridays are open mic nights. Likewise, there's a list for that at the bar too. I'm also hiring: cooks, waiters and bartenders in that order. If you need a job and you have experience, or you have some sort of skill set that'd make it easier for you to catch up quickly, come on in. Let's talk.

Got one new rule on the board since I have two months until the damn show returns, and that's no mentioning True Blood in any way. If I want to know, I'll look into it myself.
