Oi, so the white jacket blokes assure me that this is not, in fact, some elaborate Weasley prank and I am, in fact, in New York City, America, and that apparently here I'm fiction.

And there's no bloody Quidditch. Yes, that WAS the first thing I asked about.

For anyone who knows me, and I'm told there are quite a few of you, you can put down that hankie and stop your sobbing because Oliver Wood has arrived!

For those that don't know me, I'm sure you will, very soon. I'm kind of a big deal.

It's kind of sad seeing adults get all excited about prom.

I thought I'd get to know some of the people I'll probably have classes with. (Also, I should really get on with getting to know my roommate. Since, uh, we LIVE together and all...) There was that baseball thing, but there's gotta be something else besides just prom that can get us socializing and all that. I don't think we have the space to declare a slumber party, unless someone knows of one we could use.

So, who are you people? Anyone I've missed talking to so far who also went to Xavier's, or even the Massachusetts Academy (ugh)?

So I thought it would be fun to play around on the Internet today. I'm really interested by the things I found regarding a threesome involving my dear friends. Some people apparently ship Bo, Tamsin and Dyson. I can't really say...I disagree after what I've seen so far. I wish I could hear Bo's response!

There's also people who want me and Vex to get together. I'm sorry folks but we were totally just great buds! Me and Vex. That would be just weird.

Also I think I've spent my whole day on tumblr. That shit is addictive.

The ever brilliant Sherlock Holmes suggested I should organize an outing to the parade tomorrow morning. I planned on going anyway, but if anyone wants to come along it should be pretty giant. And crowded.

Yesterday was amazing! So much pie! Pie is delicious! SWEET PIES! Not just those silly mince pies that are tiny that the humans ate which ruined good meat with crust. But chocolate pie and lemon and pecan and apple and it's all so delightful!

Why can't every day be pie day?

Three months ago I certainly had no idea I'd be living in New York and teaching Physical Education by day and bar tending at night. I miss playing pro Quidditch, naturally, but I'm honestly having a great time here.

We've got a great lot of people here. You're all alright in my book.

Covering the Coffee Fest for work today. I don't even like coffee but this looks pretty interesting.

Things can never go well for me, it seems. This morning I woke up and Chuck was gone. Just like that, I'm alone again.

It's like suddenly my world was sunshine and now it's rain again.

A lass stopped me as I was coming out of the coffee shop and asked me if she could see my wand. I shrugged and pulled it out of my jacket and held it out so she could see it. She started giggling and shaking her head and then told me she wanted to see my other wand. I explained to the bird that generally people from my world only have one wand. She then proceeded to tell me she wanted to see the wand I kept in my pants. It took me a good five minutes to figure out what the hell she was talking about. She refused to leave me alone until I told her I was getting rusty on me Unforgivable curses and needed someone to practice them on.

What the fuck New York. What the bloody fuck.

You know, if I wear a hat just so (and I can since it's cold as bollocks out there), no one can see my scar. Then if I'm not wearing my glasses, some people think I'm either Percy Jackson or the actor who played him Logan something or other. So that's better than the whole "OH MY GOD YOU'RE HARRY FREAKING POTTER" or something that I get whenever I go to the park and play Quidditch with the Muggles. But they at least have stopped staring. I've been playing chaser for them though, because seeking is boring when you're not playing for real.

Now that we have brooms that fly and such (thanks, Rose, you're brilliant), I'd like to invite you all to a pick up Quidditch game. I called this place called the YMCA that has a gymnasium and it's big enough and private enough that we can do it there. Plus it'll be heated and such so we won't freeze. So if you want to play, I got the gymnasium on this Saturday morning from 9 to 1. We'll have brooms and such, and we can play. Just let me know you're coming. I have to put people's names down on a list for the people at the YMCA.

If you have a preferred position, you should let me know too...

Oh, and Dorcas, I think maybe I would be okay with going to the theme park place. Maybe we can all try and go in April? They're having a Quidditch World Cup down there. It might be really fun to go then, right?
