The Doorway: a panfandom game

I've been here almost a week now and I keep expecting to be taken back but that doesn't seem to be happening. That means I need to start thinking about a job. I'm not sure where to look though. Does anyone need a biologist/geneticist/MD who has worked with metahumans?

Thought I'd update everyone on the whole black out/glowing issue. If you were glowing, I would recommend having the Doctor look at you.

He was running some tests on me, again. I like to call it, "Sleep Deprived Rose: Revenge of Bad Wolf." It's a working title.

Long story short, I can jump, and I mean high. We're not sure how high or how far, I'm assuming more tests. It seems to work with the other abilities I gained because I nearly ran into the wall, but it was like I was just jumping off a balance beam.

We've got reports of people glowing worldwide. If you have were glowing this evening report to medical for clearance. I do not want to hear two months from now that you were glowing and you did not share that information with us. It will not go well.

If you are not glowing I want you on base for assignment. Communications will be monitoring current information sources and we'll have operations team assignments within the hour.

Well, we have phone, internet and computers. Which is a much better start than tin cans and bits of string. Now it's mostly a matter of populating our database and being ready to help anyone who needs it.

New York is AMAZING! The shops! The FOOD, I don't think I've ever SEEN food like this — I'm definitely going to have to start a diet after what I've eaten today, cut out carbs or only eat grapefruit, something like that. I had my photo taken with a man wearing nothing but pants and a cowboy hat who sang me a song, and I slapped a man on the subway who called me "girlie."

I can't believe I've been here before and don't remember a thing.
