Cramming twenty years of history, law, and culture into a span of two weeks has been a rather absorbing task. In my effort to make myself into a modern gentleman, I fear I've failed entirely in the most basic of politeness. My only defense is that the Internet was a much smaller affair when I last was, and I was therefore unaware of the necessity of introductions here.
My name is Mark Darcy. I am a barrister, specialising in human rights law, lately of London. My London is rather lacking in wizards, dragons, or superheroes, so I apologise in advance if I am temporarily struck dumb by any of you. I also must apologise belatedly to the young ladies who were snapping in and out of visibility in the lobby some time ago - I assure you, I did not mean to offend with any undue attention.
