Well this certainly beats being sent home and told to enjoy a long wait without any assignments. Since I'm feeling rather polite, that faint tremor you may have noticed was me. And since I am feeling ever so kind right now, I'll even play the game and introduce myself.

I'm Daisy. Daisy Johnson.

If you haven't heard, I have a completely kick ass new roommate. To celebrate, we're having a party next Saturday. Yeah, yeah, I know that's St. Patty's weekend, but who says we can't celebrate both at the same time?

Anyway, let me know if you're coming so I know how much booze food and drink to buy! We're in 1710 and the festivities will start around 8!

Well, this sucks. My roommate - who was actually reasonably cool - got sent back or whatever you call it. I mean, I know she's probably happy about it, since she was sort of upset about her friend leaving, but now I have this big apartment and NO ROOMMATE. Living alone is boring, especially when you can't go out during the day.

I officially hate the fucking tesseract.

I love days off! They give me time to do: Cut, not filtered! )

In my defense, it's not all that I did today. I also did a nice job cleaning up the entire apartment so you can see reflections on every surface, too. (Feel free to thank me later, Luke.) Not exactly the most exciting thing to do on a day off, but I suppose it's better than watching the Real Housewives of Somewhere marathon like I did last day off. Not that I should probably be admitting that. Reality TV is kind of the worst ever, isn't it?

So just finished reading the book I'm in, finally. As weird as it was reading the stuff from my point-of-view, it was even weirder reading stuff from the people I know. Like now I know how Jericho's stuck on me, and I think I am too at the end?? That's just great- And then like, there are even people I don't know, but I'm weirdly connected to and stuff. Like this one guy came to my Uncle's museum and then just bolted out one day, had no clue who he was, but apparently he's a big character in the book too and is all goofy for one of my friends. Who woulda thought.

It was pretty alright reading though, over all.

In other news, the talk show people had stuff about the presidents on today for Presidents Day. Pretty jazzed that not only will there be an Irish-Catholic president, but that he'll be ranked the number two sexiest president of all time. Not really sure why Teddy Roosevelt came in first though...

Where are you? I'm bored.

And out of blood. Can you get me some?

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I've never actually watched the show I'm supposedly from. Sure, I've been curious, but it kind of seems like a bad idea. I have to admit there are times when I'm tempted, though. I mean, who doesn't want a chance to see their future?

Somebody needs to talk me out of it before I succumb to boredom and look it up on Netflix.

Red motorbike or black motorbike? There seems to be a dispute over which motorbike is better.

Who's up for taking Roxanne on a tour of New York? I have the day off and lunch will be my treat. And I owe Roooose some fortune cookies before she finds a nice place to bury my body where no one will ever find it.

I've got zero idea what's actually happening in this game right now, but I'm fairly certain I've just seen my future husband and at least five future ex-boyfriends.

Well OK. I gUess I can skiip the den ial part of this procesS, since I am very obvi--ously in the future.

This futuristic typewriter IS so

o much m ore diffIcult to type wi th-

Oh, but you can just go back and delete your errors? Well, isn't that ducky! Sure saves a lot of time. I'm still going at a snail's pace here, since I don't use the typewriter very often, but when I did, it was hopeless mess. I think I'll just leave those at the beginning for humor's sake.

Really though, wow. It took me hours to figure out this network thing, and it will probably be another hour by the time I'm doing writing all this out. Nevermind the stuff outside! Some things are familiar, but others look positutely out of this world. Even the lemon squeezer seemed different. A lot smoother, actually, I have to admit.

It's nice to be in New York still, but I don't know. Even with all these whosee-whatsits, it just seems like it's missing its edge. I am way too young though to be gabbing about the 'good old days'...well I guess I'm technically too young. I'm technically 17, but that's not what my birth certificate will tell you.

Oh, anyway, I'm Evie O'Neill, and I don't know from nothing what's going on. I sort of suspect I might have gotten myself into this pickle, but then, I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHY YOU ARE ALL HERE TOO, SORT OF LIKE I DON'T KNOW WHY ALL OF THE LETTERS ARE SO BIG ALL OF A SUDDEN- HOW DO I MAKE THIS STOP?

Between school and schoolwork I don't get a lot of time to go out and do normal kid stuff. I've been looking forward to being normal, but even walking around New York is a challenge. Everyone knows who we are and wants an autograph or a picture with you. It's just easier staying inside and being so busy is as good an excuse as any.

I totally forgot there was another Mayan Apocalypse the other day. We didn't even party to celebrate it or anything. Oh well.

Is there some kind of LGBT support system in place for refugees? And if not then I think there should be. I never know who I can talk to about stuff. And I

Katie, can we adopt a dog? It can be small and I swear I'll take good care of it so you won't even have to lift a finger. And we'll get one that doesn't shed. I wash dogs five days a week and it's really making me want one of my own.

I promised Ma I'd be home in time for Christmas. What exactly is this for?

Dec. 23rd, 2012

Katie and I finished decorating our Christmas Tree today. I'm not even sure where she found a pink one, but she did. She did most of it on her own. It looks like Christmas vomited in our apartment, but there are presents under the tree so that's all that matters!

I never thought 'dogwasher' would end up on my resume, but it's better than nothing. Actually, it's better than a lot of other jobs out there. I love dogs and I'll get to spend a lot of time around them. Probably smell like wet dog too though

Speaking of things I love, does anyone know if this building has a place to grow things? I haven't been up to the roof yet, but maybe there's a garden up there? I hear that's what New Yorkers do sometimes. I'm not sure where else I would be able to grow vegetables.
