I wanted to take this moment to thank all of those who attend the meetings on the 13th floor. Tonight's Refugee Support Group meeting will focus on our futures, on the things that we know are to come in our lives but we are nervous or afraid of. All refugees are welcome to attend, and there is no pressure to share if you do not want to. It's encouraged, of course, and as always, I'm available for consultations.

I've been thinking about asking this question for a while.

This building, this tower is full of a lot of heroes. Not just super powered, not just costumed, but people who do whatever they can, and sometimes more than they can, to protect others.

And I want to ask -- why do you do it? What made you dress up in a skin-tight jumpsuit and fight crime? What made you earn a badge? Join the army? Push through medical school?

Seriously, they're hard enough to take off when they're on someone else but how the hell are you suppposed to do up clasps in the back on yourself. Why do women need bras anyway? I mean, yes, it makes breasts look perky and pretty and va va voom, but seriously, men, we need to learn to appreciate them braless. Because bras - more trouble than they're worth. I think I'm beginning to understand why women used to have maids to help them get dressed.

If anybody gets to thinking (or continues thinking) about some separation for any sizeable amount of us mutants, I thought some figures might help put any ideas into perspective.

By my count, we currently have 29 mutants brought here from 6 different Earths. Kitty and I got an official designation for the one most of us were from (it's a long, cross-time story and we don't know why they call it what they call it). I have no idea what the others are in that system. I just went A-E for them. Feel free to declare a new name.

Good morning. I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you but, in all the activity, my work on your samples got set to the side. I've finished now and I can't find anything wrong on a genetic level. Your markers suggest your abilities manifested at birth as opposed to puberty, but even though that's rare, there are no signs that it has caused you any complications on a biological level.

It appears the control issues are completely psychological. I would be happy to meet with you, if you are unable or unwilling to meet with Charles. At the very least, a mental scan may enlighten us as to how best to proceed.
