Is this what it's like to be a prospective college student in the US? I mean, it must be, because that's really what I am. Accepted to a university, but waiting to see if I pass the relevant tests before I can say that I am a student at ESU. On the 17th I take my GED, and pending passing that, I'll be officially a college student. :)

But this spring, There's going to be a short film about Anna's birthday. I don't know how I feel about this. I mean, I would celebrate Anna's birthday every day if I could. It's just that I somehow mess things up with my powers, and I don't like the sound of that.

I did it, like I said I would. I called them this morning, and I'll be on the float in the parade. They were actually very understanding when I fold them that I wouldn't sing, but I'll smile and wave and do my magic, and it will be worth it because of the children, and because I'll be able to start putting aside money for our futures.

I'm so nervous.

Now, Pepper's closet has a really nice selection of clothes, but sometimes a girl needs to splurge a little. I know that the holiday shopping season starts in a couple of weeks, but I want to go now. Would anyone like to go along?

Speaking of the holiday season, we don't celebrate these particular ones in Arendelle, and everything I've read makes them seem rather solemn. Are they really? I know Jack's said that Christmas is for children, but surely it can't be just for them? Halloween certainly wasn't.

It's a little strange to think that if all goes according to plan, I'll be returning to school in January, after the Winter Break. There are, of course, certain goals that must be attained before then, but I'm entirely confident that the education I received before I was crowned will do me well, and that I will do credit to my tutors. Until then, I've decided to take some classes with the ESD, to help prepare me more fully for my upcoming foray into the world of modern education. I'd also like to choose a major before I enter into the world of university academia, although I'm told that it's perfectly acceptable to be "undecided".

I was fortunate to be able to walk through a neighborhood doing their trick-or-treating on my way to work on Halloween, and I counted at least four Elsas, and two Annas. I'm absolutely certain that they were much cuter than Anna and I ever were when we were children, and trust me when I say that we were completely adorable as children. I also saw an Olaf, and I think that I might have frightened the baby's mother when I squealed. But he really was too cute for words, so I think I was justified in my reaction.

Just a reminder that this upcoming Friday, Parker's will be holding its first annual Halloween costume contest. We'll be giving out prizes for the funniest and the best and holding a dance competition for those who like to shake their groove thing. Doors open at 8pm, and it's 18+ that night so bring your boogying shoes and your friends.

(And if anyone's looking for a little extra cash that night, I can tell you already we'll he short-staffed for all around. Come on by before Friday.)

I am very confident that I am mastering the art of Google. I have discovered that there is a television show in which my sister and I are characters, but I have no recollection of any of those events happening, but perhaps I hadn't lived them yet?

But no, ( cut for spoilers ) And the Elsa in that program doesn't look anything like me. My blue gown is much, much prettier.

I finished the book this afternoon and I don't think I've been able to think coherently since. Did you say that there are more? It feels as if there should be more. And questions. I have so many questions and I don't know how to articulate them all, especially about quantam everything. I don't understand.

Thank you to everyone who came to the small party Anna threw for me yesterday evening. It was truly wonderful meeting you all, and it eases those worries that seem to come along with learning to find your place in an entirely new world. I feel as if the only thing that will hold me back, for now, is the lack of a modern education. I'm, naturally, thoroughly educated by the standards of my time, but the truth is that there is so much more to learn and I don't really even know where to start.

I suppose the next lesson in my cultural education will be Halloween, which has a fascinating history, even though I am not familiar with the cultures that shaped it, from its earliest days to the present day. I do find it amusing that children are able to dress in costume and be rewarded for it -- but I wonder, what is the reward for adults? And how does one choose a costume and do so without offending any one culture -- that would be a terrible thing to do, and I wish to avoid it at all costs.

Despite having found my sister, and having everything I've been told corroborated by her, it still feels as if I've entered into a fantastical dream. I half hope I wake up at home, in my own bed in Arendelle, and will be telling Anna about this over breakfast.

Hello. I'm Elsa, and I was here before, although I don't really remember it. I'm told I had friends here before, and I do hope that those friendships can be rekindled.

Is it true that there was a story written about Anna and I, made into a... oh. Film. A film?

Over the weekend I took Anna to see a Broadway musical. I realize now that I should have asked for guidance in choosing what we saw. As it turned out, Hedwig and the Angry Inch was quite the eye-opening introduction to Broadway. We want to see more shows, but I would like to see something that is a little more tame.

I think it's amazing how quickly times goes here. It seems it wasn't that long ago that I arrived, and now I'm working and Anna and I are trying to figure out what classes she should take and I think that I myself might take a few, just to help me figure out what is what here.

I do like the idea of the poetry class, though. Would we be writing poetry or just learning about it? What would you rather do? Write poetry, read it, or learn about it? I think I would like to read it, because I don't know if I have the talent to write it.

OLAF! Olaf! He's here! This is very nearly as good as having Anna here, and we're both so happy to have him.

It's just a little strange, though, because he does sleep, and he says that he's fine sleeping in the living room but I feel strange making him stay there when Anna and I have our own rooms, and it seems silly to deny him a room of his own just because he is a snowman. He's alive!

Anna
Do you think we should request a new apartment, so that Olaf can have his own space? I can make it so that his room is cold all the time, too.

I'm so proud of you, having found a job.

I can definitely say that I have the best sister in the entire world, and the friends that I've made here have been so nice, and they made my birthday a much, much nicer day than the one I celebrated recently at home.

I've done some research on where I'm from, and it looks like I'm pretty popular? Or Anna is? both? But I went to a Disney Store and it was eye-opening. There were dolls that looked like both my sister and I, and the person who assisted me told me that I was lucky because they can hardly keep those on the shelves. Then she was a little... offended when I didn't buy either of them? But why do I need to buy them, when I have my real sister with me, and I certainly don't need a doll of myself. I was tempted to buy an Olaf, though. I do miss him.

Would anyone be interested in ice skating? If it's not in use, I thought maybe I could freeze the pool on the 13th floor over for the evening.

ETA: I also think that we should go for ice cream after! :-D

Hello. I would like to make a formal apology to everyone in this city for the trouble that I caused this morning while in Times Square. I was unexpectedly frightened, and reacted very badly to that fright. I understand that the snow and ice and cold caused delays in transportation, that some emergency response teams were slowed, and that people were caught unaware in inadequate clothing. For this I deeply and humbly apologize, and only hope that I can be forgiven. I'm very truly and extremely sorry. I hope that the fireworks that were planned for tonight's celebrations don't have to be postponed, and that despite the snow and the cold, that you were all able to celebrate this wonderful holiday.

I'm bored, which is a dangerous thing for me to be really, but I'm staying out of trouble. okay boss, find me some trouble I can get into before i die here. This is like what I'd be doing back home, I guess? Forcibly put on leave sounds as boring.

Also, it's hot. Which is okay with me but makes people watching on the street fun. I mean, really, tempers flare in these temps, and it's fun to watch. Also, found a new favorite soft pretzel vendor.

Hello, everyone. My name is Virginia Potts. I'm better known as (and answer to) the moniker that Tony gave me many years ago, Pepper.

I wanted to take a moment to welcome you all to the Refugee Network. Tony Stark - as well as many others - created the network so you would have a safe space to talk without the prying eyes of the media. I'd like to give them a warm thank you for their hard work.

Some of you have been here for a while, and as of today, the Tesseract has given us more refugees than it has in the previous five months, and it's still going. I'd like to take a moment to thank the hard-working men and women of S.H.I.E.L.D. for their diligence and perseverance. Without their quick thinking when refugees began to appear, this would have been nearly impossible for any one of us to handle.

And on that note, Director Fury has asked me to pass along the message that they are in dire need for Administrative Staff to help with processing. Anyone who is interested can pass on a note to your Housing Assistant.

Speaking of, there should be one Housing Assistant per two floors (and in one case, three floors). Should you require any assistance, they should be able to help you. Potts Tower is not a new building, but we have gutted it, given it an ARC reactor for clean energy, a full service gym in the basement, an outdoor patio and pool area, and an entertainment area. We plan to utilize all of these areas in the upcoming holiday season in the hopes that it helps alleviate some of the melancholy of being without your families.

Once again, welcome to the Refugee Network and Potts Tower, and I look forward to getting to know you.
