[Daryl & Jo]
Is the weekend before Halloween too late for camping?
Sorry I could not greet you when you arrived. I was a cat.
We have returned, Agent Hill. I am quite exhausted so if I may, I shall give you a preliminary report now and a more detailed one once I have slept for a few hours. I am sure Mr Dixon will be able to give you a more in depth report according to his particular expertise.
From my perspective, there was a startling sameness at all the sites. I am not an expert with Muggle explosives but I have experienced my share of explosions of a magical kind. I have noticed over the years that even explosions that have the same cause will differ due to their environment. No two explosions are the same, so to speak. Yet these sites were all very similar despite their rather disparate locations and environments. I will elaborate further once I have had time to rest.
I also attempted to locate people who may have witnessed what happened. I could not find anyone in the South American location but a few of the local people had seen what happened in Botswana. Again, it was from a distance and they had little in the way of detail. Unfortunately only one spoke any kind of English and he seemed reluctant to translate what the others were saying. They were repeating the word 'Mbwiri' or something to that effect and pointing at the area of the explosion. Eventually he relented and translated the word. It means 'demon'. I persisted with some further questions, which my friend reluctantly translated, and they were adamant that the explosions were caused by demons.
I am uncertain what to make of it but if you can obtain for me a large bowl made of stone I can let you and any translators you think might be of use see the scene for yourselves. You may be able to make more sense of it than I could.
