I'm 100% better than I was at the beginning of the week. So glad that whatever it was that I had is gone. I missed going to my classes this week, but I've been working extra hard this weekend so that I stay caught up in them.

I'm well enough to help you out whenever now!

Did anyone else go out and plant a tree today?

My mother always made a point of us celebrating arbor day when we were children and I guess it stuck with me. I don't think my siblings carried on with it after they moved out but there's something really fun to me about going out and getting dirty for a little while. Hooking up with a new group was weird. I had been doing it for years with he same people back home, but it was fun! I met some cool new people. Got me out of this bubble I've been living in for a while.

But now I have to scrub every inch of my body. The might have been a dirt fight and I might have gotten soil in places I didn't expect.

The Potts Tower Youth Center is currently looking to fill two recently vacated positions:

Counselor: With Audrey's departure, we need a new therapist/counselor at the center. We're looking for a licensed therapist with experience working with children and teenagers. Candidates should have a degree in psychology, psychiatry, or social work from some universe.

Business Manager: Since Octavian disappeared, we need a new manager of financial matters. Responsibilities include budgeting, managing all financial records and reporting, and working with the fundraising lead to plan and execute fundraising events.

If you're interested, email me: lukec@pottstower.com. Feel free to ask any questions about either job here.

On a completely unrelated note, I'm trying to decide if I want to pay for/install the new sound system or the convertible kit on the Fairlane first. The convertible would be awesome...but on the other hand, right now we only have an AM radio that picks up one station where all the music is in Spanish.

Attention all archers!

Are you an archer? Have you been looking for a place to practice? Look no more! I've talked the West Side Gun Range into renting out their space to us. They have a practice space with moving targets and stuff. I know it won't be as challenging as some of you are used to, but it'll be fun!

Cost will probably be around $10 or $20 depending on how many people we get. I'll bring snacks and pop.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll pass on the numbers to the range.

Do you guys know of anyone I'd be able to stand living with who needs a roommate? The apartment's really empty without Jason.

I've been here for a little under a week now, but I think I've managed to get the hang of things.

1. Some doors are electronic and open up when you walk up close enough to them. That one really freaked me out the first time. I had to stop and walk through it a couple more times before I trusted it entirely.

2. Some computers are "touchscreens" like the one where you buy your subway pass. You have to actually touch them to get them to work. Someone in line behind me finally started pushing the buttons for me because they were really impatient, but at least now I know how to work it.

3. I was too afraid wary of the Empire State Building's elevator system so I took the stairs. I had go slow because I was behind an elderly lady trying to make the same trek, but the view was the most beautiful I've ever seen in my life. I wish I could see it at night.

4. I'm not sure what pastrami is, but it's my new favorite thing. I've never eaten so much meat in my entire life. Don't even get me started on the ice cream and frozen goods. We never had anything like that back home.

Did anyone else visit the Earth Day celebrations today in Union Square? It was such a beautiful day outside for it as well!

Tomorrow I'm volunteering in several of the city's parks for clean up, re-planting, and such. If anyone would care to join me, please let me know.

It's very important that we take care of our home here. Fresh, safe air and clean, green plants are far better than any alternative.

I spent the last five minutes just flicking the light switch in my room on and off and just smiling.

Wow. I never thought I would see electricity again. It's been so long I hardly remember it at all, but here's this computer sitting in front of me and it's not just a piece of junk that doesn't work. The last time I saw electricity I was five years old. I'm nearly 21 now. It took me a good half hour just to figure out how it works, but I think I have the hang of it now. I used to watch my Mom on the computer writing e-mails. And now I'm never going to see her again. She left again

So, 2013? I guess this means it's a different timeline all together. That's what they said when I came through that blue ball of light anyway. Where I come from the entire world loses electricity in 2012. I think I've got a lot to learn.

Hello, everyone. My name is Virginia Potts. I'm better known as (and answer to) the moniker that Tony gave me many years ago, Pepper.

I wanted to take a moment to welcome you all to the Refugee Network. Tony Stark - as well as many others - created the network so you would have a safe space to talk without the prying eyes of the media. I'd like to give them a warm thank you for their hard work.

Some of you have been here for a while, and as of today, the Tesseract has given us more refugees than it has in the previous five months, and it's still going. I'd like to take a moment to thank the hard-working men and women of S.H.I.E.L.D. for their diligence and perseverance. Without their quick thinking when refugees began to appear, this would have been nearly impossible for any one of us to handle.

And on that note, Director Fury has asked me to pass along the message that they are in dire need for Administrative Staff to help with processing. Anyone who is interested can pass on a note to your Housing Assistant.

Speaking of, there should be one Housing Assistant per two floors (and in one case, three floors). Should you require any assistance, they should be able to help you. Potts Tower is not a new building, but we have gutted it, given it an ARC reactor for clean energy, a full service gym in the basement, an outdoor patio and pool area, and an entertainment area. We plan to utilize all of these areas in the upcoming holiday season in the hopes that it helps alleviate some of the melancholy of being without your families.

Once again, welcome to the Refugee Network and Potts Tower, and I look forward to getting to know you.

-Virginia Potts
