Alright so we all know each other, except for the new girl, Alison. She's from some teen werewolf show or something like that and she likes arrows so that's cool. It's an MTV thing. Alison, these are pretty much the best Avengers, and also Logan.

I don't think we need to practice together or shit, but I'm at the gym most afternoons so if you want to join, that's cool. Especially you, Teen Wolf.

But anyway, so far as Avenging goes, I know it's not big, but I've kind of stumbled upon a thing. I don't know if you guys are interested but I met these three guys the other night right? And they're kind of having some trouble with getting forced out of their block where they're performing. So I was thinking of helping them out cause you know, that's kind of shitty.

It's good to be back from Comic Con. I don't believe it's an experience I'm likely to forget any time soon.

For new arrivals who might be trying to get used to computers and the Internet or would simply like a basic review of what computers are like in this world, there is a class tomorrow at the City Island Library entitled 'Introduction to Computers -Internet and Word' that might be helpful.

For those of you who attended the Potts Tower Town Hall I'd like to let you know that there are groups looking into the various themes that came out of that meeting. This is a check-in to make certain that everyone's Patrol Schedule is still working for them. If you need fewer nights, more nights, different nights, let me know. I'm trying to keep it pretty evenly spread, but I'll do my best to accommodate needs. Right now we only have 4 people on Friday night and I'm planning going out that night this month as needed, but if anyone wants another night and is willing to take it let me know.

And for those of you who excel at research & magic this is a follow-up on a request that Caroline Forbes had made regarding the possibility of something akin to the Sanctorium Spell that Lorne had the Transuding Furies cast on his bar. It is essentially a spell that doesn't allow physical violence within a specific area, something that can be useful when you have a number of vampires, demons, and humans in a particular area together. Caroline would like to have something like that, but I don't know about the feasibility of casting that particular spell here. If someone would be willing to look into that, or look at other possible options I'm sure she'd be appreciative. And Caroline if you have other options or requests - let them know. It's been a while since we spoke about this.

I was recruited to help with the Youth Center's activity tonight and this afternoon. Starting around noon, anyone who is interested in participating should meet at the center. We'll be designing and then completing a mural on the wall near the pool and garden on the thirteenth floor's patio.

(Younger children will be decorating stones and making mosaic tiles to put in the garden)

If a few of your teenagers don't mind sacrificing an afternoon to a good cause, I'd love to see you there to help out & paint.

New York, well this is nice! Even if Mum is totally going to flip when she learns I'm not home. Or my professors too. Then again the whole fictional thing is taking a bit to process too.

I am going to assume that is normal for complete strangers to walk up to you and ask you personal questions? I wasn't expecting many people to recognize me. Perhaps these shows are more popular than I initially realised.

I cannot believe how much I have missed. According to what I have heard and read, I am quite a few episodes behind. I know I've said this before, but I am so sorry. I should have been there for you.

Your husband might be a man-child if you come home from work to find him in a fully involved reenactment of Star Wars as performed by the plush toys that he insisted this kid of ours had to have. I'm sure the baby will appreciate that the toys have been well loved when he or she arrives in January.

To answer the question several people at the precinct have already asked, sitting at 13 weeks as of Thursday. Castle and I have known for over a month, but I just wanted to be sure everything was going well. And it is, which is such a relief. Perfectly healthy and on target.

So this is slightly embarrassing to admit, but I always had this thing when I was younger, elementary school years maybe, where I would picture myself to have a line of differently themed Barbie-like dolls of me. Partially influenced by Malibu Stacy because I was ten and hey, look, there's a blond doll with my last name! Pretentious? Self-centered? Maybe. In my defense, I didn't know better.

I haven't exactly thought of that memory in a long time but apparently, I got a really.. weird version of it in my dream last night where I watched an assembly line of them being made.

I'd just stop at "dreams are weird" except.. I have never woken up to someone having placed a bucket of PAINT -- the exact color of the one the dolls were being dipped in, even -- right next to me. I'm pretty sure I'm still not dreaming.

Well, that was certainly a very chilly and interesting 4th of July. Never celebrated it, though my sister lives/lived? in Boston. I wish she were here, she would have found this amusing.

In any case, last time I was here, I worked as a personal trainer, and I've taken that up again here. I specialize in core/strength/conditioning and performance enhancement, as well as overall health and wellness plans. I work my clients hard but I do NOT subscribe to any methods that might end up causing injury. I've done training work back home as well for my fellow professional athletes, so I definitely have seen results. Let me know if you're interested in joining up, I can do as little as one session to suggest a go-at-your-pace workout, foodplans etc, or full on training. Let me know!

In other news, I need some quidditch in my life. I know there isn't a HUGE number from my world, but I'd be willing to teach anyone who was interested. Who might be up for an amateur Quidditch league??

Now that summer is officially started here, I think it's also a good time to come up with a reading list. Maybe it should be themed? I'm still reading the second book in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. So maybe my theme should be space! Always wanted to go out in space anyway.

Things like this make me really worry about the future of the human race.

As a doctor, I can not impress on you enough just now important it is to avoid infection after you have removed the tracker implanted in you by SHIELD. I will be more than happy to remove any and all implants tonight, and I will, of course, be available to keep an eye on incisions made.
