Okay, what the hell? I went to get my Halloween costume, (I know.... I know, it's late, I've been working, shut up) and when I was grabbing for the last Batgirl costume, some bitch tried to clock me. I was like, oh, fuck no. Needless to say, my dumbass got into a fight in the middle of the costume store, good thing there were some cops I know there... managed to hush it up, but seriously. I was like, dude, it's just Halloween... don't take it so fucking serious.

Oof. SHIELD Training. I've done a lot of stuff in my life, a lot of dumb stuff, a lot of dangerous stuff, but I'm not sure that I've ever been so sore or so exhausted.

It's great though. Glad I'm doing it.

I'll tell you this, as fun as you Muggles have for Halloween, I don't think I'll ever seen anything that tops the Great Hall at Hogwarts.

I just had the greatest pizza ever. It had nacho cheese, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, french fries and bacon. Heart attack in a square but it was worth it.

Going back to NYPD Homicide just in time for all the freaky Halloween murders. I'm guessing that's the universe's gift to me, as it knows I love a weird case or two.

Okay, when you tell someone you can drink them under the table, they better back it up. I kicked some ass. Now it feels like my head is detached from my neck. Oh well, I have some aspirin.

As much as I hate to feed Ollie's freakishly large ego, having a party was a pretty brilliant idea. The flat is too empty without Katie and Angelina here. It was nice to have it full and loud again for a night and it was brilliant to meet some people I hadn't before.

Can you make a career change if you've never officially gotten past the training point? I've been thinking about this SHEILD business - seems more useful of my time (and my abilities, I suppose) than standing in a gym and deal with blokes trying to ask me on a date.

There might not be a Ministry of Magic here, but I imagine hexing a muggle is still frowned upon in society.

I think this has to count as the best birthday of all time. I turn 20, go on a lovely trip to Maine, and come back engaged!
