[Filtered away from Maleficent]

Okay. So...I'm not really sure who I would filter this to, but I want to be able to help out. I found out from someone that there's a version of Maleficent here. In my world, where I'm from, she's my mom. I don't think this version here knows me, because if she did, I feel like she'd definitely reach out, at least for being pissed off for me betraying her.

...Anyway, the point I'm trying to make here is that back where I'm home, she taught me pretty much everything she knows, so I guess I can help if you need it? I haven't been here very long, so I don't really know what her game is, but if I can help, I'd like to.

...I can also turn into a giant dragon, in addition to knowing magic, so there's that, too.

Turns out Goose and Bruce were having midnight romps. So that's a thing.

[Pretend that it's Goose and Bruce.]

Bureau guards and official volunteers:

There's talk of moving kids outside of Tumbleweed, but we don't have complete data on whether or not she'd snatched anyone outside of here. Right now, I'm recommending patrols, particularly around school times. I want no one under eighteen walking to school alone. Parents, if you want a guard who has superpowers as a bodyguard, let me know. We'll assign someone.

If you're volunteering, note that I will be picking those with powers first. Maleficent has untold magical powers, and there is no telling what she's granted to the troll-like "people."
You up for some more shifts while I get some people out on the streets? Promise not to work you to death.
Need a favor. Can you drop into Cuba and let me know if one Mistress of Evil and her troll minions are there?

Okay. So. I was walking home, and these things tried to grab me. They looked like little trolls, like some of the ones I've been seeing downtown. Spider-sense made it so I could sense them coming, but they almost got me.

I also noticed that they only really seemed to be going after kids, and not adults.

Anyone else have this happening to them?

[Carol Danvers + Rhodey]
Hi. Would one of you maybe be willing to be my guardian? You don't have to live here if you don't want to, but I guess I need someone to be the go-to person or whatever.

[Filtered to teens / younger people*]

Hello! I'm Ochaco Uraraka. I'm 15 years old, and I just came back to Tumbleweed recently. It looks like there's a lot of different people from when I was here the last time, and I was hoping I could make some new friends. Maybe a group of us could get together and go to the carnival tomorrow? It looks like it could be fun!

I just want to make some friends around my own age. There's pretty much mostly adults at my house, and they're nice, but it's nice to hang out with people my own age, too.

Good Afternoon. I want to thank everyone for participating last week. I was thoroughly impressed with the turn out and each and everyone of you should be proud of your performances. You can find the
casting sheet for our production in the attached PDF.

As a reminder, rehearsals in the beginning will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school. (Edit) - We start this Wednesday. We will have rehearsals on the Cruise, whenever we depart for it, and the adjustments for the schedule will be delivered once we know exactly what kind of time table the Cruise plans to function on. I've taken the liberty of uploading the script and you can download it directly to your devices; so everyone should have access regardless of which planet we are currently orbiting. Our curtain date is TBD but we're aiming for a general end of April/early May time window. Really, it's always going to be in the air until we have a feel for our upcoming journey.

And as a final note, there'll be a week or two where I will be unable to oversee rehearsals. This is somewhere in the nexus of March. Pixie, our stage manager for the production, and Tina, our collaborator from the Community Arts Center, will ensure things remain on schedule during my absence.

Once again, congratulations and I look forward to many weeks of having Dancing Queen stuck on loop in my head.

Are you going out for the musical this time around?

Toward the end of last year, I somehow managed to inherit Once Upon a Pie, and the currently still-unnamed catering business that was slowing forming out of it to go along with my shop, Uncommon Goods. We've lost a lot of staff and management due to the portal. I'm going to be setting up job advertisements for the locals soon, but if anyone is interested in working in sales, baking, or catering we have positions open. I figured I would see if any of my fellow Displaced are seeking jobs first. I could also use one more staff member at Uncommon Goods to work week-days.

It's the last weekend before school starts again. We have to do something.

So Mr. Waugh is helping me to apply to the theater and dance programs at SUNY Purchase and we set up a date for my dance audition and it’s on February 8th. And now I need a routine and I’m coming up blank because everything feels done to death and I don't know if I should do something original instead. Help?
