First off, because it can't be said enough, happy birthday. This time the late edition. But I'm pretty sure you earn a month of them after the big one-eight just to celebrate people not insisting you're a kid anymore.

And now that that's out of the way, I know you'd been thinking about options for life after high school before. So, what's the situation? College? Full time work? Part time multiple places to check your options? My offer's still on the table, just so you know.

So, in our world, there's something called the Mist that protects mortal human beings from seeing anything out of the ordinary, particularly when demigods get attacked or when huge monsters kind of.. happened to be outside with us. Anyway, my sister had the ability to control the Mist and disguise a lot of things from both mortals and monsters.

Thought I'd be able to get it too. Tried all I could and I don't really got it. :(

So question is.. anyone got any permanent charms to make the Pokemon look like normal dogs? Or normal animals? I'm half expecting mine to evolve whenever, so it would probably be a good idea to make sure nobody is seeing something that's part wolf around town.

On this fine Friday the Thirteenth, some of you may find yourself wondering what to do with your free evening. Here at the Camp, we have a lot of space and a wide movie selection, so here's an open invitation to come and hang out for a low key welcome back get together. Alright, so we need two sets of round the clock patrols. One's for the perimeter for the Fort Neill Military Base and one is for the portal room itself, even if we can't get into it right now.

We need volunteers. Shifts will be six hours long, so double what we were doing for patrols back on the ship. 18+ for right now. Comment to the shift that you want. Specify days if you can't do every day. We need powerful and uninjured fighters right now, so if you don't fit the bill, there's plenty of other things you can help with. Right now, we can't pay you, but we'll figure out something to make sure you're taken care of.

Alright, with the pirates moving the hell on and the ship back in operating order we need to figure out a few things.

Do we got any sort of numbers? I know the medbay seemed to be pretty dang packed when I was down there. The robots seem to be back online to work with fixing people but medical personnel what else are y'all needing? Should we continue triage in a separate area for more minor injuries y'all can deal with?

From the doctors: Small things that just need an antiseptic, sutures, or ice and rest can be done in the adjacent areas

Does every kid got someone to go home to right now?
If not we're gonna need to pair them up with people if'n their parents/guardians are hurting. Or keep up the school being a place for them to stick to. If we do that we're gonna need others to stay down there with them.

We'll keep kids at the school until one of their guardians is able to come and retrieve them. Or someone in their guardians place.

So, we've been on this boat for awhile. Away from our workshops, away from some of our bigger projects, and we all know the dangers of idle hands.

With that in mind, I'm putting together a little competition. A good old race. Winner gets bragging rights and a special, super secret prize that my dear friend Rhodey is setting up.

Now I'm sure you're wondering where the engineering comes into this race. Well, you won't be running the race yourself. Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to build a contraption/vehicle/robot to go through the obstacle course that'll be set up in the Climbing Course area. Anyone who cants to participate can pick up your box of materials you'll have to use on Friday at 1:30pm. For the sake of level playing field and making this a real challenge, you can only use that box of materials in the creation of your 'racer'. You'll have the entire weekend to craft your masterpiece before we start the race process 4pm on Sunday. Good luck!

I turned 15 two days ago. It's not too different from 14, I gotta say, except apparently, your little brother (doesn't matter if he's 17, he'll always be my little brother) decides to be a little ballsy and make cupcakes of the spiders from Middle Earth, thinking he's being so funny. Still. This was definitely one of my better birthdays spent, even though it's the second time I celebrated it on some kind of ship.

My day was still good, because I have the best boyfriend ever, and also the mostly okayest brother ever.

I've got a non-urgent question for you.

Originally, I was thinking about going to university next year, but the whole being just pulled from school mid-year made me think, maybe that's not the best idea. Cause who knows if this is going to be a 'hey, you were at home learning stuff and everything is cool' sort of situation, or a 'surprise you've been gone for three months and probably the portal didn't have enough courtesy to drop you from classes before its too late for a refund so have fun with extra student loans and F's on your transcripts' sort of situation. And the whole unpredictability of it makes me wonder if there are better things to do.

I'm good with mechanics stuff, and a lot of the aerospace engineering stuff I wanted to go to school for isn't out of reach just by applying myself to reading and doing probably.

So I guess, I'm feeling out options - would you potentially have a job for me, full time, when I finish up high school?

I wish we didn't have to leave. I really like the Elves and the Hobbits the most. I spent time helping in the gardens in Hobbiton, and I spent time reading some elven texts. They even gave me a really pretty necklace, and the stone matches my eyes perfectly. Gondor and Rohan are really amazing as well. It's hard to say which place is my favorite.
