LEFT ON ALBUS' DOORSTEP VERY EARLY SUNDAY MORNINGA pile of 14 individually wrapped brooms in brown paper, sleek, all in different types of wood for the handles and fibers in all colors of the rainbow. They all have slightly different personalities: some of them have better maneuverability but don't go quite as fast on the straightaways, others are super fast but don't maneuver quite as well, etc - the differences are very subtle, but noticeable if you try more than one broom for extended periods of time. All of them are easy to fly unless they're not handled respectfully, in which case they might get a little uncooperative. Regardless, they hold to the magical imperative of their creator that they are meant to keep their rider from falling or crashing in any way that would cause a major injury or death. (Poke me if you have any questions!)
There is no note. Albus knows who it's from.
