It's looking to me like if'n we can get our two interviewees to take the few courses provided by family services here, order the furniture and get the room set up in the school that we might be able to start offering an early childhood program by July.

I can't believe it's almost June, and that it's been a year since some of us left Mount Weather. Sometimes it feels longer than that, and sometimes it feels like not that long ago. Usually it just feels like a different lifetime, sort of like how my own world feels like a different lifetime. I guess that might not be an unfamiliar feeling for those of you who've done this before. Feeling like you don't even recognize who you used to be, or like it wasn't more than a dream.

The girl Inej that just showed up is 17 and the guardian she had last time she was here is gone so I signed for her. She's one that's been looking after herself for a while but she'd like to stay at least until she figures something else out.

These people call themselves doctors, but they are certainly lacking. And this contraption is senseless. This entire situation is entirely ridiculous. Quarantine? To protect from what disease, might I ask? No one seems forthcoming. I know how to take care of myself. I'm a doctor. Not that anyone here seems to care.

Small town gossip sure is different than what I'd hear at Pop's when it was in New York. Good way to get to know the locals better though... little too well.
