I am not a sentimental man, nor do I generally express concern for the well being of others. Those who are important to me know where it is they stand and have my concern when it is absolutely necessary. Thoughts and prayers, words of sympathy to convey an empathy I sorely, albeit not wholly, lack mean little coming from me. I am neither a thoughtful man nor one of religion, let alone one who has consistently showed worry in times of crisis.
This place, however, has a rather humbling effect. I do not know many of you personally, and I would venture further by saying I hold little interest in remedying as much; however, I would express one thing: share your trials. Silence is not the way to cope.
