hey guys!
for those of you who've listened to pretty. odd., what do you think of it?
i don't completely love it yet, but that's how it always is when i first download albums. i'm glad they changed their sound up and made a completely different album. a lot of people are unhappy with it, but they need to realize that people can, in fact, change after two years and want to make something different. if the guys are happy, you know, i'm happy.
my favorite songs are i have friends in holy spaces, northern downpour, the piano knows something i don't know, she had the world, and that green gentleman.

the winners are finally chosen. one of them was a member of the patd community at lj, so she posted about it. here's the email she got from adam after she won:
"Congratulations! You were one of the first three people to correctly complete the final challenge. You'll be getting one of the deluxe limited edition box sets of Pretty. Odd. We'll be announcing all the details of the box set this evening when the preorder starts. We'll also try to throw in a few other surprises for you. Thanks a lot for playing the game and congrats on being one of the first to complete it."
i'm happy that they didn't get something that awesome, though. so whatever.

just because i'm too lazy to describe everything that went on in detail, you can check it out here: http://community.livejournal.com/patd/2102080.html.
basically, patd had another fucking puzzle and whoever finished it first won something. i went out to eat so i missed everything, pretty much. but there were a million links and a million pictures, some of which added up to be the tracklisting, and yeah. there were some lyrics too, but you can find it out at lj.

Panic At The Disco's new album - your track-by-track guide
We've had a listen to 'Pretty. Odd' at Abbey Road Studios in London, where the band recorded the strings.
It's due out in March, but here's our sneak preview.
NB: These song titles are subject to change.
1) 'We're So Starving' A knowingly tongue-in-cheek introduction to the album – "We were busy writing songs for you… You don't have to worry/We're still the same!" sings frontman Brendon Urie –but, what with the Queen-esque multi-tracked vocals and bombastic backing track, one that sets the tone for what's to come all the same…
